I just got a g37x sedan and I love it so far. Also, for this being your first video you did fairly well. You will get better with time. The only thing I can really criticize is the microphone when you were outside the car, but that can be looked passed easily.
Just picked up a 2011 FX35 with 152k Kilometers, so roughly 94k miles. Damn its quick for a 4200lbs car. Not the best materials, fit and finish, and tech...ive owned BMWs for the past 10 years, 3 and 5 series. But its so much more fun to drive. the throttle response it absolutely insane compared to any Beemer
Talk from Your knowledge not a script. Sounds like you are trying to remember what u want to say. Speak w your chest out. Be comfortable. Be confident. Hope you do well in these videos!
Those ripped off materials beside the central console might not be due to be cheap but to be a result of wrong hands work. My G35S has its dash board in great condition. The car runs and feels like new with 260k km.
Reliability is pretty good, but gas mileage isn't that great. It's comfortable. Has reasonable tech for a car from 2008. I think the biggest problem with this being a first car is that it's a bit fast. And not just that it CAN go fast, but that it WANTS to! This car likes to be driven hard! For a new driver, that could become a problem so I wouldn't recommend it. If you still want something fun for a first car, I'd recommend most Subarus and Mazdas, Civic Si, Lexus GS300/IS300 etc.
Got a 08 g35x twin wind up mint inside and out . Lil over 200k fully maintenance cam phasers high-end oil tons of new parts like lower control arms new starter new wheel bearings new brakes and rotors all the way around . Clean friken car have title the cluster lights are the blue and red and white and all that for SALE
I’ve put over 30k miles on it in the last 18 months and it’s been phenomenal! I have experienced some issues but mostly related to the previous owner not taking good care of the car. The only issue unrelated to poor maintenance was the EVAP Purge Solenoid failed. This was a super easy fix that I was able to do myself in about 15 mins! Other than that (and a dead battery that left me temporarily stranded) she’s been perfect!
Just the audio was not the best, and maybe take a little bit more takes until you say something perfectly, and maybe script it a little bit more. Great video though!
Honestly, after a little over a year and almost 25k miles, this car has been pretty reliable. It’s the little things on this car that have given me issues, but I don’t really care because it’s such a blast to drive! As far as this compared to the G37, I think I would go with the G35 simply because the transmission in it is better and has more aftermarket support. The G37 has a programmed in gear flare, which basically means the tranny slips on purpose between gears to make shifts smoother. That’s my only real gripe with the car. I would imagine that those little quality issues have been worked out simply because it’s a newer model, but I wouldn’t know for sure.
