My 2011 b8 had the same issues. I totally agree. I just got mine fully fixed from the Audi dealership and costed me an arm and a leg to get it working just like if it were from factory. (It had other issues as well). It drives like a dream now with 0 issues and I love it but I wish I did my research as well before I bought it from a private seller that had no documentation of services.

Mine is at 128k currently but I got it at 124k from a private seller. It was super expensive at the dealership but if you saved up enough money it’s definitely worth it. Dealership got the job done right. The timing chain was also done before I got it so it was pretty much new.
They're reliable if you do the basics. Just make sure that oil changes are done on time! I drive mine flat out every single day and had 0 issues. Its a German car you must drive them hard!
When you blacked out the chrome, did you use regular gloss black or did you get the paint code and go with that? If you just went with regular black from a can how does it look in person I’m doing it to mine soon
265,000 KM. Not yet I will need to or just get something else. I had a mechanic take a listen, told me its fine and not to worry about it. I will need to or else the guides may fail.
