The 2014 World Championship: Moments and Memories 

The first upload had some issues with 720p.

This entire tournament was all about SSW. They stomped competition, and only games they lost were because of cockiness. Going typical 2:0, then 3rd game kind of flashy picks against TSM and SHR, and then after losing they are winning next game with their normal picks. Their average game time was around 27-28 minutes. Their KDA was over 2 times higher than 2nd team's KDA. This tournament was meant to show that other regions got closer to Korea, but it just showed how far behind every region is. In my opinion if SSW wanted to go undefeated and make tournament "boring" they could go 15:0 picking same champions and using the same working strategy all time, but they decided to go for "style points".

I seriously cannot decide which was my favourite moment from worlds. Kabum's burst against Alliance, the 70 minutes game between Fnatic and OMG or the thrilling 3-2 Royal and Edward showed us.

"THIS IS FOR KABUM!" My most favourite quote from 2014 Worlds and a huge highlight of the S4. Respect to C9 and Kabum for doing so well! See you next season guys!

in my opinion , this is the best season so far

Didn’t play league during this time. Don’t really play league anymore. Idk what it is about this moments and memories. But it’s my favorite. “Can anybody stop Samson white” put shivers down my spine. The way the announcer says ” you have a North American team in the quarter final” and then “what can they ban what can they do, tsm has to think of game 2 already”. “SSW final defeats SSB”. As someone said this was all about SSW absolutely dominating the competition and I think that makes it even better. Just the way the quotes are said. The conciseness, the hype, the domination!

I think this Worlds is more memorable than others not just because of the music or the fact that it was outside of the States, but also because right after Worlds, the rosters completely changed, and this is the last Worlds before the new Rift.

It still amazes me how insanely popular this game has become. I never thought I'd see video games up on a big screen in front of thousands of people like a sporting event. Regardless of if you like the game, community or competitive gaming at all, you can't denied the legacy this game has created. It has paved the way for the future of gaming, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Thank you Riot for doing this! I love the community and everything about LCS! I love the hosters, I love the show and entertainment! Year 2014 was fantastic! Sjokz is becoming the hoster but I will never forget our old boys, Deman & Jatt (?) :) My body was shaking when I was watching it, I've been to GAMESCOM 2014 as well and it's unbelievable good... Last of all, FNC will always be in my heart, Rest in Peace. ♥♥♥

"The 2014 World Championship was a grueling gauntlet of epic esports action" All I saw was stomp. It really wasn't that interesting to watch, especially finals. Group stages were enjoyable. There's a huge gap between SHR vs SSW and it really showed.

i hope this is not an insult but yes! this years worlds was a BLAST! but i think the competition on the next worlds can be MUCH BETTER SSW literally destroyed everyone, wow what a unstoppable force! they were just PERFECT, they fix every mistake and dat synergy is truly mastered, with all the awesome timing of their decisions overall yea ssw was just stomping and throwing everyone around like cats
