Thanks for the review, great job. I sold my 2007 pair a couple months ago, because they were cracking a bit, and I knew these were coming. I'm starting to feel a bit of regret, because I really liked the changes the made to the 07 pair. At least the quality looks pretty nice. Very interested to see how these look in person.
I honestly wasn't going to pick up the 2015 but the more I saw pics of it and the more I stared at my OG, I think it was proper to bring it on home. Excited to bring the comparison to RU-vid and I think most will agree it'll be close to the OG.

On the stitching above my mid soles the paint chipped a bit but barely noticeable! But I did use a fabric marker on the white trim🤷🏽♂️ didn’t care for it

Price makes a big difference. Going over $200 is a bitch but I think it's the reality we all face when the years move on. Sucks but that's going to be the reality.
I keep seeing people say that they're closer the ogs but how is it so hard to make them exactly like or very close to the ogs. but if you went toe to toe with the ogs you would find a lot of differences I think
Yep, sole collector had one too. The tongue material, back collar shape, toe box side stitch, tongue patch positioning, famous white lining on the ogs that's missing on the retro. No og style nike box, still not the same shade of grey. I like the shoe cuz it's a cool colorway but to be truthful it doesn't even look close to the og with a quick simple eye test
I will be getting the aqua 8's for my son, I will be passing on the shoe for my self due to the glitter. not hateing on the shoe, just not my style as far as the glitter goes. one of the reasons why i did not get the 3-peats was because of the glitter. Im hopeing the chrome 8's dont have the glitter, or i will be passing on those to.
+CHRONIC RICK The glitter effect was an original component on the OG from 1993. It was on all 3 of the colorways as shown on a previous video of mine. But, to each their own.
+VGUN KICKZ Nike is stating nubuck uppers on those. Otherwise I think they'd have to state synthetic leather or synthetic nubuck - m.nike.com/lu/en_gb/launch/c/2015-07/air-jordan-7-retro-bordeaux
+MJO23DAN yea bro i saw that,is strange coz the sticker that comes with inside the shoes states that "syntetich uppers" but i have mine from europe,i know some websites do make mistakes when stating something and the material been other but...never know
