👁 About this video : Today we take a look at the largest suv from BMW, the X7! This is a great family vehicle that offers plenty of room for 6, and even has room behind the third row! I love all of the materials and it has such a premium feeling to it! The amenities are are plentiful as well with the 5 zone climate, so even third row passengers can stay comfortable, along with heated seats for everyone! You can be comfortable and have a quiet ride all in one! I love the power delivery too, so for a large suv, you can hardly feel the weight and it accelerates quick and takes turns at normal speeds with ease! It's definitely very luxurious and the exterior styling compliments it well with the large grill and clean lines that flow around it!

By far this is the best 3 row luxury suv on the market, in my opinion.style, quality, engine, tech....it all works. That includes the new Escalade...heated seats and a sunroof for the 3rd row! Cmon....

THE best luxury/performance SUV money can buy. The details and opulence puts it in another league over the new MB GLS. V8TT performance is a monster. I test drove a fully optioned X7 at $125k and it’s in its own opulent league. Merino leather, wood,aluminum and suede everywhere. Rear entertainment is limo/executive level of screens and controls. B&W Diamond sound upgrade is THE best audio system in the industry. At this league of vehicle, go all in for a “Masters of the Universe’ ride.

I like this suv for its beautiful features. It has heated 2nd and 3rd row. I like its sunroof for 3rd row. BMW has thought much of the 3rd row. Its suspension is great. Its performence is unbelievable as well. This suv is better than all other suvs. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Question the third row seats when you returned them to the regular position, I noticed after they reset the head rest did not reposition, so does one have to manually reset them (the head rest)?.

You do. Most electric seats only pop the headrest down, and then you can put it back up manually. It's nice though because that gives you more visibility until someone needs to sit there.

5:40 Ouch at that 6.7 mpg on the consumption screen. Obviously you don't buy an X7 M50i for its low fuel consumption, but that was eye opening. 🤑 Enjoyed your thorough review a lot.

That’s not the true mpg though. This is a brand new vehicle that hasn’t even seen a full tank put though it. It did a lot of ideling in the parking lot. I mentioned the mpg numbers in the beginning of the video, it’s way higher.

How is the reliability on these N63 engines? I've heard some surprisingly poor things over 50,000 miles specifically regarding ignition coils/fuel injectors as well as excessive oil consumption, not to mention overheating.

Great video! I love this vehicle, everything about it, except.... I really wish there was a leather gear shift selector, start button and knob like the X5 Competition, I think the glass is a bit feminine, so maybe an option would be great. Also, all of the plastic looking lacquer on the center console, I think wood or leather would have been better. Considering its an M series, I think the glass should be left for the regular X7.

The crystal shifter is an option. So you don't have to get that. You can spec these pretty freely to really get what you want. Awesome SUV!

Yeah in 2 years would be nice but or Benz amg next year I’m doing same all 2019 and 2020 cars will be less money depends on what you buy a 100k car will be about 60k 65k in 2 years in 4 years this car will probably be 50k or less in Canada they go down fast super fast

Silverback Silverback yeah i like bmw I’m into amg more like the new e63s 2021 or cla 45 which in Canada cost only 65k but soon will be like 40k next year it’s small 4 cylinder car which I live the most because easy to get around cheap to repair but if I go for higher quality Benz of course would be s class for now I’m into the Benz cla45 but I’m also into the new bmw m5 which is really expensive p but yeah next year I’ll make up my mind and see what I can get my plan is to buy one cash and keep it and love it for a long time 👍

Silverback Silverback I hate any car that’s convertible unless got metal roof top some cars make it custom I hate the leather or cloth roof top of convertible but when it’s open is beautiful I also hate any 2 door car lol even if it’s Lamborghini lol but maybe I’ll change my mind if I sit in first I’m poor don’t have much I have to find a car that’s cheap like 40k I wanna save up money and stuff I mean even 70k for m5 is worth it few years old it’s beautiful but cla 45s is not even in Canada I think Benz cla45 maybe but not the s model I don’t even think I saw the 45 I like cla45s because faster almost same price but it isn’t nearly as comfortable as bmw m6 m5 or m8 I saw reviews now another issue with me is I like comfort and the 2021 e63s is so fast and comfortable I wanna speed and comfort that’s my type of car and 4 door so I’m very confused about what car I want lol I like the cla 45s because it’s 4 cycles 420hp is super fast it beats 580hp heavy car because it’s light easy to fix nice beautiful little car but I also like m5 because looks sick and probably so comfortable now the amg e63s has air suspension and assume the 2021 is really comfortable and sporty with like 600 hp or more but it’s super expensive if I was for that car I’ll have to buy it in 2023 or 2024 for like 50k because at the moment is 120k so too many options and very little money I guess and it would burn me to spend full price on a new car and then 2 years goes down 35% or 40% will burn me the reason I mentioned cla 45 because it’s only 60k it 65k but without all the extra options and when it goes down will be 40k or less very affordable but m5 and other cars Fromm 100k or more we gotta wait over 3 years or 4 years

Laser is only on high beam, regular headlights are LED. Plus, laser lights in U.S. are limited to 300 meters by law (vs. 600 meters in Europe), so it sort of defeats the purpose here.

That is a tough one!! I really like them both to be honest! Personally I'm a bigger Audi fan, so I'd buy that. But the BMW has some amazing aspects. Very competitive!

I haven't been in the new Escalade, but my brother reviewed and drove it! From what he told me it drives great, I'm sure this BMW and the Escalade are pretty similar, the BMW is going to be a little more sporty though.

Think I’d go with the new GLS personally...I just can’t warm up to that front end, I’m sorry🤢🥴 Also prefer the overall luxury bent of the GLS relative to the X7. Seems more appropriate for a 3 row SUV.

Ah the obligatory depreciation hyperbole. Try finding one for $20k. 2019 x50i start in the low $70k's in 2022 for one without a bunch of options.

I love BMW'S but they made so cheaply. Everything is plastic. Your good for only 5 yrs after that shit starts to fall all apart. I know this cause I owned 5 series.

I know older ones would get that plastic coating to start to peal. Not sure how these new ones are going to hold up. Mechanically they have come a long way and are pretty solid

Depends on the model and how it is treated. I have a 2012 750 that is in pristine condition inside and out.
