I watch maaaany review videos of cars since 2016 … vehicle virgins dougdemuro carwow harrys garage etc and since last year and a half tedward for pov videos and i can honestly tell you this guys deserves so much more
Thanks so much for the suspension feel over those bumps. It brought the intrusion noise into the cabin heard through my head phones into reality. Awesome 👌 review as always 👏🏻 Side note: Suspension Engineering and the frequency range in Hertz of operation of the spring and damper rates is a interesting field. There are so many endless variables.
It looks like the ride height setting is locked into the access height (lowest, padlock lit up next to the button) which would probably account for the firmer suspension feel.
I'm still blinded by the Ford Bronco, but that Land Rover Defender is sweet looking. Given the vehicle dynamics you mentioned in your drive review, Land Rover is using the extensive options available as the real customer draw. Anyone finding a lack of refinement in the Defender's character, well . . . check out the fine leather and rich appointments with mix & match trim. Given the Defender's mission maybe the lack of refinement is a good thing! After all, the Defender is the only Land Rover I'd feel comfortable taking off road. Thanks Miles.
It's certainly an interesting prospect. Trying to walk the line between luxury and capability. There's some refinement to be done here, but it's quite distinct in the segment.
are those chips in the paint on the front of the bumper already? So you're telling me for the low, low price of 70,000 dollars I can expect my Range Rover's paint to chip after 6 months of light economy use? Lovely!
Still trying to figure out what I think about it. It’s really big, which is a perk. It’s got the luxury elements, another perk. It’s also kind of just not spectacular. From my take at least.
