So expensive. One time me and my dad was at Chevrolet because my dad was seeing if he can get a Tahoe it was like $70,000 then they extended it to 140,000 and then he just left and instead of getting a Tahoe he just got a GMC Yukon
I have the 90 and when I was in the showroom (previously out same day comparing Porsche Macan etc) messaging home I said “this 90 is right for all the wrong reasons” not as practical but still gives me the biggest smiles 😎👍🙏

The 90 looks like a short school bus, the 110 has a useless 3rd row seat and the 130 is a lifted station wagon with a horrible off-road departure angle. The Defender 120 would have been the Goldy-locks of SUV options and probably the only version they needed to build.
I would love to see FCA make a 2 door JL Rubicon with the 485hp 6.4 Liter Hemi V8 with every option automatically included: Steel bumper group, LED Lighting group, premium sound, infotainment, navigation, body color matching fenders and top, 4.10 axle ratio with front & rear lockers, all terrain tires, disconnecting sway bars all the safety equipment, cameras tow package etc and only 2 selectable options: 6 speed manual gearbox or 8 speed automatic. One caveat for this pipe dream: no top speed limiter or governor of any kind! I think that’s fair.
Don’t get me half wrong, the new defender is actually very good looking. But for me as a die hard Land Rover man. Nothing will ever come close to me swapping my love for the old Defender or even the Series iii. Absolutely love those. Greetings from Brighton in the uk.
Like the 2 door wrangler the defender 90 is the superior offroad and on road vehicle to the 4 door. I hate compromised models of vehicles designed to be no compromise offroaders.
So, having tires 275/45 R22 does it cause any issue in regards to clearing the wheel wells? Does LR needed to shave off/trim to get clearance? because my 110 stock has 255/60R20 and I’m thinking of getting bigger tires 🛞 using the R20s
@milesperhr As someone that has driven more vehicles than the vast majority of the population… What is your opinion comparing the Defender (V8) to the Rivian R1S? The Defender has to be one of the best SUVs available today, so it’s really got to be a fair comparison. I’ve personally cross-shopped both and it was a close decision (no regrets with my choice, but I won’t share it to not bias answer if you actually respond).
I wonder how the reliability will be on one of these after say 5/6 years. Really love the look of it, but hate the idea of that price tag and running into major problems. The Lexus GX IMO might be a better buy? 🤔 🤷♂️
