Every single Maverick video brings out people thinking every vehicle should be designed for them. 😂 If you don’t like that it’s unibody, or AWD instead of actual 4x4, or that the bed isn’t 8ft or whatever your complaint is then this might not be for you. Plenty of those options already exist. Go buy one.

I received mine November 27th. Nice driving vehicle that feels like a truck.

When they came out in late 2021 I loved it it's good to have a small truck and not a racing type but a family fun truck with $20,000 to pay now that's a good truck price than most others would pay

I got my Maverick last week. I love this little truck. It is perfect.

Pickup trucks have gotten out of hand with exaggerated dimensions, this is a welcome change of pace.

Very impressive little truck, can't wait till my Ford Maverick Hybrid arrives in the spring. I ordered one without ever driving or even seeing one in person. People who know me are completely SHOCKED that I would do such a thing. The really great MPG is what did it for me. Hopefully, a Plug in Hybrid version will be coming out in the future.

I got my AWD Maverick last month after a 3 month order wait. Its a good truck so far. Great value for the $.

Every time I watch a Motorweek vid I feel like I'm transported back into the 80's.

This truck runs 14.8 and runs faster than my stock 91 Mustang LX with the 5.0! Before mods I ran a 15.3. Technology has caught up with cubic inches.

I just picked up an XL ecoboost and it’s a perfect little truck. Went from a 2020 Silverado and It’s. Brilliant

We definitely need smaller pickups on the market. I’ve driven all of the newer full size half tons and they’ve gotten huge! I had a 2006 F150 for 10 years and the new one feels much, much wider.

I've never considered a truck in my life, but this is an incredible value and is quite efficient. I'm very impressed. Pricing feels right, looks nice, not sorely lacking in power. Is this technically the cheapest hybrid you can buy new?

If the ecoboost does 0 to 60 6.2 seconds. That is quicker than an 89 Mustang GT with a manual.

I see 3 customer groups for this truck. Crossover buyers, older buyers who have always driven trucks but need something smaller, and people like me. I would like a truck, but my current commute makes no truck I could afford to buy feasible. I will be looking into the Maverick next time I buy.

Finally a truck with a reasonable base price and great gas mileage! Let’s hope it is relaible!

With gas at $4.00/gal. and even $5.00/gal. in some places, the hybrid is sure to be a good seller. I bet Chevy, Ram, Toyota, etc. are very nervous right now.

I believe Ford will sell as many of these trucklets as they can make. For the price these things are perfect for students, as well as regular DIYers, or garden enthusiasts.

Looking forward to this. We will always have a truck and a car/SUV between my wife and myself, but I never thought I would be getting a truck that would be SMALLER than the SUV. We just sold my 2016 F150 and bought a 2013 Expedition for my wife (she needed a bigger vehicle for a new baby coming in July), and I needed a more budget-friendly replacement, but I wanted a truck. The problem is that all used trucks, one way or another, were just too expensive. Low mileage trucks were too expensive even on a longer loan term, and every time I would go down on price, the age and mileage would get higher, and once I reached a price I could afford on a longer loan term, the vehicle would be too old or have too many miles to be able to get a longer loan term. Then I found this, and realized I could afford to get everything I needed out of this for a reasonable price AND a longer loan term, and for things like towing, I have the Expy that can handle the larger loads. Ordered the FWD Eco XLT a week ago and have a build date of 3/7. Hopefully will get it by the end of March.

37mpg for the hybrid and 26 for the ecoboost is amazing for a truck

I ordered the Rapid Red First Edition with the Luxe Pkg and 360. Got a build date of January 18th. Been waiting since last summer. Kind of excited seeing them pop up around town now.

Cool little truck but would love a 2dr with a longer bed. Similar to an old school Ranger work truck package.

Ford Really Hit the Money with the Maverick, maybe it will pressure other manufacturers like Chevy or Toyota or whoever else to build and sell smaller trucks.

Given that you can get the Escape Hybrid in awd, it baffles me that Ford made the Maverick Hybrid fwd only.

Great little truck. Haul a couple dirt bikes and kids out to the desert. Don’t need a giant F150. Love that old school blue and steelies why not?!

6.2 seconds sluggish 🤨 that's actually not bad for a small truck considering the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon doesn't even close do that.

I really like the interior. The fabrics look nice and I like the splashes of color inside. I have a 2018 F-150 which is fairly nice inside, but I prefer the Maverick interior.

I love the Front wheel drive. That is all I've ever had on my Escapes.

I enjoyed this video much more than others I have seen! Very well spoken and to the point, where others weren’t so well spoken. I reserved a hybrid Maverick XLT, XLT Luxury package, and Co-Pilot 360 in Velocity Blue in July, and ordered in on 15 October from the local Ford dealer. I probably won’t see it until March or April, but am definitely looking forward to getting it!!

Perfect truck for me. A little light hauling, dog hauler and 42 mpg. Yeah, it snows here, but the bride has a Subaru. And besides, we walk to work.

Wow, Ford has a huge hit on its hands here. This size truck has been needed for years. The power of the hybrid is impressive and I’m sure that model will be the best seller.

If it was offered with a stick shift, I'd probably buy one. In fact- a stick shift and reasonable base price is why I might buy a new Bronco. But I could really use a little truck bed...

Looks like it has a lot of nice features that a lot of people are looking for today who don't necessarily need a more heavy duty pickup. Unfortunately your off road test excursion was something most anyone could handle in a 2 wheel drive car.

$20k vehicle could be a hit with parents that want to buy a vehicle for their kid going to college. Great on gas, plenty of space and a bed to haul all there belongings from school and home.

Love the concept of this truck. I believe ford nailed this vehicle outright. The exterior styling is the only issue to me. They should have went with a more aggressive design though. But ford does have thousand of orders for this vehicle already, so it is a home run for them so far.

I was really prepared to hate on this little truck (my parents had a 73 Maverick Grabber), but I'm starting to warm up to it.

I’m still annoyed that Ford won’t bring The New Lincoln Zephyr & Fusion/Mondeo here🇺🇸!!! My 1st car was a 2000 Contour SVT(Still Daily It) then 2010 Fusion Sport then 2016 Fusion 1.5EB SE now I own a 2018 Fusion 2.0EB Platinum & I’m ready to upgrade to another FORD SEDAN & That 2023 Fusion looks so good!!! I can’t lie this is starting to grow on Me. I feel like “The Ford Maverick” should have been The Ford Focus” & “Fusion” should’ve been The Mondeo here too!

I was around in 1964 when Ford introduced the Mustang and much of the same hoopla and enthusiasm that attended that product launch surrounds the Maverick. Interest is very high partially because of part shortages and supply link issues related to Covid 19 but it’s like 1964 all over again! Now if only Ford could do something about those outrageous dealer markups…

Been looking when i go by the dealer but dont see any. Would like the hybrid 4x4 dont know why they are holding it back in the USA
