Where did you get the date September 15th? Is that a definite date for new '23 orders? I haven't seen anything definite as of today. I was at my dealer yesterday and they were hoping for the 15th but not positive. Let's hope you're correct. 🤞
It is reported on FordAuthority, CarBuzz, MaverickTruckClub, several forums then confirmed this week with my local Ordering Manager that 2023 Maverick Order bank opens Sept 15th. I will check the Ford website in the morning to see if a New configurator is Live, then head to my Ford dealership to put in an early order. I have had my current Maverick Hybrid since Jan, so it worked the 1st time. Good luck.
I'm still waiting for my 2022 xlt hybrid with sunroof and the luxury package. It should be here by November 8th lol. Definitely not a quick buying process but hopefully will be worth it. Good video. I definitely like the looks of the tremor. I did order a leveling kit and tonneau cover for mine through Ford. I think the extra 1.5 inch in the front will give it way nicer stance.
I agree... Tremor limited to 8% production & No hybrid, so could be a challenge getting one. Your Hybrid with Luxury package is a Great vehicle to have in the meantime time. Crazy efficient for the size.
Yes, order banks are Open Now. I just submitted my info online today & already had the Dealer reach out to me. The 2023 Maverick Configurator may not go Live til Oct But you can meet with your Dealer now & submit an order if you know what you want. This could help you be very early in the 23 orders. Only ahead of you would be previous 22 orders that weren't built. I'll be stopping by there this afternoon & may have some more info after.
The prices will not go up that much. The only model that will happen is the Tremor and it is not worth 3K either. Tremor will not be in the upper 20s either.
Upper 20's was referring to mpg's. XLT Tremor looks to start at 31K. Tremor Lariat a little more. For those budget minded & wanting high mpg's of course it's not worth the money. But it looks to be priced 12K or more less than Ranger Tremor. A Maverick Tremor has many upgrades & is substantially more Rugged version, not just an asthetic package, so could be a good value comparitively.
That santa cruz is Not aesthetically pleasing at all... (it is one of my favorite beaches in California)... and this truck does not represent that city at all, it does not deserve that name. What do you think?
@@CarSharingJho it’s called an e car. There is no belt drive in the ford hybrid which makes a cvt the wheels are driven by electric motor The engine is not directly connected to the wheels like a cvt. Look it up
How does the Ford Maverick hybrid transmission work? The Maverick comes standard with the 2.5L inline-four engine mated to a ECVT transmission. The ECVT has gear drives, not belts like a traditional CVT transmission. It uses a dedicated motor to power the truck and another one t start the engine and act as a generator to charge the on-board batteries. May 25, 2022 This is what the internet says about the Maverick hybrid transmission. It’s NOT a cvt with belt drive . For those of you that still think it’s a conventional cvt like Nissan uses. Look it up. It’s the same basic design as Toyota uses and Ford has used in its hybrids since early 2000’s.
