It is hard to make a $107k vehicle seem more reasonable. It looks fantastic, and I'm sure it has lots of bells and whistles, but it is hard for me to comprehend spending that much on a vehicle. Great video, as always, and keep them coming.

In ‘97 I paid $100k for a house in NW Denver. Sold it for $330k in ‘14. What will a Wagoneer be worth in 17 years. Oh well, you can sleep in your car but you can’t drive your house. Took the $330k and built a new house that Zillow says is now worth $700k.

I would love to see a long term review of these vehicles. Mine has been plagued with electrical issues.

Hey Roman, could you start telling us which country the electric motors in various EVs come from? It seems like it's really important to you to mention the country of origin of a gas engine, while I'd like to know who's building the motors "of the future."

Not really sure why so many people seem to think that folks would have to sleep in these on a regular basis just to afford them. Lol Fortunately, people who generally buy these types of vehicles are financially established enough in life that they don't really need to worry about that. I highly doubt that there are too many people out there who are wondering where their next meal will come from, but just have to have that new series III Grand Wagoneer so bad that they're like, "Damn it, Jeep. Why is this thing so expensive?!! That's it, I'm selling the house!!" 😂 And, they certainly aren't forcing anyone to buy these and do make cheaper vehicles. Just thought I'd throw that there for those who seem a little... confused. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Great review. But I think it's important to clarify the numbers when talking about towing so that people don't assume when they buy a $100K vehicle built on a truck frame that it will automatically be able to tow heavy loads. There's some really crazy stuff going on with these 2023 4x4 Wagoneer vehicles with the new 3.0L motor. The high tow ratings approaching 10,000lb are ONLY available if the vehicle is equipped with the "Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package" (called "Max Tow" in the Owner's Manual for some reason). If you forget to add that little $995 package, your tow ratings are reduced by over 40%!!! For example, 5,750lb in the Wagoneer L 4x4 and 5,400lb in the Grand Wagoneer L 4x4. That's a HUGE difference that is important for people to understand. I would love to hear from Jeep explaining why there is such a huge difference. But don't believe everything you read on RU-vid. Go check out the Jeep Owner's manual for yourself!

Glad I got my Ram 1500 Hemi when I did. Just naturally aspirated V8 goodness that’s easy enough to work on and modify. I hope the hurricane works out but I have my doubts. Not crazy about premium fuel though.

Ive looked at this setup. I have the 2022 Airstream FC30bunk. But I’m driving a 2020 Ram 3500 Big Horn Dually Aisin. I can tell you I payed half the amount for my truck that I did my trailer after taxes on both. That being said. Two years later I could get a base wagoneer for the price I paid for my truck. In two years the average car price went up $11000 and since 2018 it’s up $18000! We have got to let this market crash, lower these inflation rates, and get the car companies and other manufacturers back into check. Sad to say. Unfortunately most people are financing 7-8 years myself included in order to afford the vehicle they want. Fortunately I got 2 2020 Mopars at 0%/84 and 2%/72mo when I purchased. Now they are 6%/72 or worse. Interest rates are what keeps you in debt. Not so much term length. But when your average decent career family buys a new family suv and it’s minimum $67k for basic plus tax. Your at $75k otd! I bought a srt Jeep in 2018 loaded to the gills for $73k otd. That’s a nearly 500hp luxury suv toy that few can afford to just play with. Yet now it’s the standard cost for a mom to take her kids to practice in a big safe suv. Small foreign SUVs have became to only affordable way. STOP PAYING THESE PRICES PEOPLE!! Ford only made a LIMITED truck because PLATINUM trucks were flying off the lots!!! At $90k! May as well build one for $100k!!! And consumers bought it.

As much as I love the Grand wagoneer wagoneers in general their price point is what would keep me from ever buying one which is a shame because it is a awesome vehicle towing capabilities it's off road capabilities but price point I'm sorry it's just way too much money for something even if it's a luxury bottle version it's just too much money but then again that might just be me

That's exactly what I paid for my 2 bedroom California home in 1986. Now its worth 800k. Had I bought this Jeep instead it would literally be worth nothing.

If you're towing greater than 50% of the rated vehicle towing shouldn't you use a weight-distribution hitch?

I test drove a regular length series 3 with the hemi, so it's shorter, has more bells and whistles, and had the less powerful but in my opinion cooler and more desirable engine option, and it was stickered at $117k plus a $7,000 buyers premium. So $124,000 all in And it still didn't have every option. A wonderful and substantial vehicle but that does seem just ludicrous doesn't it?

I have to believe most people will spend much less money on a fully loaded truck to do the same task as well if not even better. Not knocking the Wagoneer’s ability, but at that price tag I wouldn’t suspect to be seeing too many folks towing their camper with it. Using the word “reasonable” is crazy.

I saw one of these at our local restaurant parking lot. Not the inline 6, I’m sure it was one of the hemis. Had 2 large dogs inside it, car was running, and the dogs are just jumping all over the place barking at pedestrians walking near it. I told the wife that’s a 100k suv with 2 dogs inside tearing up the interior, some people got money to 🔥 apparently!!!

What! No weight distribution/anti sway hitch? Fortunately Airstreams are one of the most stable travel trailers to tow. The Grand Wagoner is crying for the 6.4 Hemi V8. I just don't like turbo charged engines. If you don't want it to be naturally aspirated, then supercharge it. I have a 2020 Airstream International Serenity 30 RB, maxes out at 8800 pounds. I tow it with my 2020 Ram 2500 Limited MegaCab with the 6.4 Hemi, 4.10 rear end and air suspension. Absolutely love my setup. Oh, yea, I use a Blue Ox weight distribution/anti-sway hitch with 1000 pound bars.

That's almost a quarter million dollars rolling down the road. Exhibit A of a debased currency and government. Beautiful rig and trailer, though...

The only people that seem to be excited for the hurricane are the Wrangler people. We’ve been looking for something better than the 3.6 pentastar for years and the 392’s days are very limited. I just hope at least the standard output is an option in addition to the 2.0T version that’s already available

that hurricane 3.0L engine is rated at 14 city / 20 highway MPG. My F150 can tow my wife's Subaru Outback and get better MPG. AND combined they cost less than the Grand Wagoner!! edit: yes this is satire. Of course my truck doesn't get 20 MPG on the highway towing.......

3.0 with all that power and torque means it highly boosted and internally stressed, will be interesting how reliable these engines are, a 3.6 or larger incline 6 would have been a marketing edge that jeep missed.

Damn a 2023 Expedition Limited Max w/ tow package is just over 70k. I know which way I'd go.

Sorry, Roman!;$110k for a family vehicle is beyond the pale. Firstly, it loses value the moment that you drive it off the dealership lot. Nobody will ever get $110k worth of value from it. *PERIOD!* Stellantis is gouging Jeep customers, based entirely on Jeep's brand name and reputation. It's unconscionable! Yeah, yeah! They put the Hurricane I-6 in it. So, what? We still don't know whether the new engine is solid. That vehicle shouldn't cost more than $65k USD!

I'll take the 6.4 v8. Tried and true engine. Stronger build than the 5.7. Turbo 6 is fine without towing, turbo sucks gas under heavy load.
