This story is beautiful, My friend and I went to church before I helped him purchasing this car. We didn’t know this was the car we were going to get. The sales man just pulled one out of nowhere and we fell in love. Sales man was so nice, best dealer ship experience ever. Nah, Mercedes, Volvos (in the front), Lincoln, Audi, Bently and a couple of others look better than Mazda. Mazda makes decent cars for the price point, but even in terms of appearance it most definitely is not at the top.

Currently leasing a 2021 cx5 preferred pkg which at the time came with both the power lift gate and the Bose. Now I guess the preferred only comes with liftgate but not Bose. Does the base sound system suck? If so I’d have to get the carbon edition right? Looking to get out of this lease and into a new cx5 Thank you! Great video

Been eyeing one of these lately I really like the car and it’s look. Not too fancy but a little luxurious feel and a couple bells and whistles. My only concern is the leg room in the back. I had a Buick that is similar in size shape obviously the encore their competition. I loved that car for its same moderate luxurious feel, but I hated how small it was! This seems to be slightly roomier I believe. Overall great video and review. I will say the real treat for me was the scripture at the end straight outta Gods word. I was blessed by that and appreciate it. I subscribed.

First time watching your videos because I'm interested in this Mazda. The part that really sold me in wanting to subscribe was when you read the scriptures. Aaaaamen 🙏🏾....and the review was awesome 👌🏽. Blessings‼️
We test drove one of these at a local dealer (Arkansas). When the salesman opened up the drivers door I had to step back because the smell of smoke hit my face. I laughed it off, made a comment that the previous owner was certainly rude to do that. I then opened up the back door to see how roomy the back seat legroom was. That’s when then the smell got waaaay worse. It was the distinct odor of weed. Ugh, just ugh. So we opened the windows and went ahead and took it for a test drive. While test driving I poked around as my husband drove. Sure enough there was a receipt in the glove box for some sort of weed shop in Maryland. Salesman reassured me that they could get the odor out with an ozone machine. As he was talking, I noticed that the door frame had an Impounded sticker on it. I burst out laughing because it all made sense. The car was registered in Virginia. Visiting weed shops in Maryland. White powder I had assumed was baby formula on the backseat. No. We discussed it that evening and we weren’t getting what we decided was obviously a mule car for our son to drive. The K-9 units would be following him down the street …. especially if there was product hidden behind door panels or elsewhere that they didn’t find when they impounded it. Nice car other than that.
Yes but their used car lot. This one appeared to have come from the auction. We’ve noticed a tendency in our local dealers to forego the cleaning of the vehicle with the ones that sell easily. We’ve test driven a few at 3 different dealers that you could tell they fully expected us to clean it up ourselves. My husband and son are looking at one in Norman, OK today and it was clearly detailed in the photos.

Slight correction, apple car play and android auto actually are touch capable on the CE. It doesn’t work when the car is in motion by default but that behavior can be changed in the menu.
Just ordered a 2023 Carbon Edition yesterday. Should be picking it up in a few weeks. Heard that most cx5 carbon are not being shipped with power lift gates as well as the Bose sound system due to chip shortages. Is this true? Dealer never communicated that with me. Great video!
I just got one mine yesterday!! And it does not have the power lift gate or the bose! It's says on the sticker bose and lift gate standard credit and it took off 600 dollars!! My dealer did ask me if was ok and I'm fine without them!! Would have been nice though!!!
@@rutgershouses Pretty sure that was sorta the truth, but now Mazda only installs it on the Premium Plus trims, lower trims get a $600 Bose and power liftgate credit.

It's definitely the sweet-spot trim level, if you aren't into potentially-more-problematic turbo engines & want a moodier/sportier looking CX-5. I prefer the ones without the zany red/wine seats though. Shame that it doesn't have separate, dedicated LED DRL's though, & instead uses the projector headlight as its DRL's (lame, lame, lame Mazda).
kinda sucks the CE doesn't come with the cx-5 premium trims features. some of mazda's trims dont really make sense. This should have come with the premium trim features.
Gotta love Mazda’s bs pricing. Back in 2021 they offered a cx5 carbon edition turbo, MSRP $30.7k. This 2023 carbon edition non turbo MSRP: $31.1k That right there is bullshit. Mazda keeps raising the prices of their cars last 2-3 model years, multiple thousand increase

I have the 2022 model. Love the car. My wife has a 2022 vw arteon and I hate that car. Looks cheap comparing to the Mazda. To make matters worse it was 50k. It has cheap plastic crap everywhere! Safe to say that my Mazda will be with me for a while. Also nice video. Till you busted out the Bible! I am out man!!! Gl to ya. Fuck man just tryin to Learn about cars here!
If you something changed your life entirely, to the point where people in your life are noticing, you'd want to share with everyone what changed your life. I keep the Bible verses till the end because I am not ramming anything down anyones throats, but I do fully intend to share the gift that I've been given because God saved my life. And he loves both of you very dearly despite you guys not choosing him at this moment.
@@AlphaShark I respect everyone's freedom to believe in what they choose. Absolutely. I am not religious as I have seen no real evidence of the existence of a god or gods. If I see one I'll let you know buddy. The word "god" is so incredibly subjective that everyone on the planet has a slightly different definition. Many of those definitions contradict each other meaning many of these people are just flat out wrong. Sadly to say. Muslims come and say to me "listen listen listen Allah is the one and true god", and Catholics will say no no no it's the Holy Spirit not Allah..... well what is? Either one or none of you is right.... and at least one of you is wrong..... you see how convoluted this gets....?
