2023 XLE Hybrid AWD is a great level. Picked one up for $1,000 off MSRP in NH in April. Got it with door edge guards, all weather mats, and wheel locks. We get at least 37.7 mpg real world mileage. Current tank is over 40 mpg. All this for a few thousand more than this model. Highly recommend.
Thanks for the review. We bought the Limited simply because they didn’t have an XLE on the lot. Love the extra stuff on it, but it is more than we really needed. Anyway, it was cheaper than the Platinum they had.
Hey Brian, it is a really great model of TOYOTA that in my perspective it is an impressive combination of all or most TOYOTA models, and you really did a great work in this review of the model and wonderful style and colour of the Highlander. Excellent job Brian 👏 Waiting for more videos from you brother. Sending all my love from Egypt 🇪🇬 Peace ✌️
Here in Egypt: Fotuner (2400cc & 4000cc) & CHR (1200cc Turbo) for the crossovers, Corolla (1600cc only) & Yaris (1500cc & 1300cc). As you notice most of them are in the economical range 🙂 In the gulf countries like: KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Uman Bahrain, actually they have the diversity of most Toyota brands 😉
The Fotuner is really nice. Of course as an American I’m naturally attracted to the 4000 (or as we say, the “4.0” or the “4 liter”) the diversity of Toyota on your side of the world is awesome!
If I live in Egypt or any other of the countries you mentioned, the first thing I would do is find a window tint shop and get the ceramic window tint to protect the inside of the car, and my skin. LLumar makes a great one that’s so strong, you don’t even have to get dark windows to feel the effect!
Yes we call it here in Egypt the thermal isolation, but somebodies installed it and some of them reported as high quality and some said that it is not original and useless, so before you get the thermal isolation you need to verify first the quality of manufacturing 😉
Nice, but no hybrid no sale. ⛽️ It’s far too big for city driving and parking. This vehicle would be a transport truck in Asia or Europe. 2024 Redesign RAV4 hybrid a far better value and choice. ✅ How’s Toyota delivery looking like? Are we still at years or down to months?
@@brianruperti I mean the button on the gear, must I press on it every time, for example when I change the shift from P to D, should I press the button on the gear every shifting ?
I believe the button is only needed when moving from P or from D. This would mean if you are in R, you should be able to easily slide into P or D without pressing. I could be wrong as I don’t have a car with me now to demonstrate.
Hello Brian, Love your videos, I watched a few of them before purchasing my 2023 Tacoma which I love (TRD Sport, Windchill Pearl, Double Cab, Long Bed, Perf Exhaust, Adv Tech Pkg). I am curious about the LED Headlights with sequential turn indicators. I have seen many videos on them, but they were only available on Pro trim in 2023. Please consider doing a video on this topic for folks who want to upgrade (mod) as the headlights are available as OEM parts and several videos are out there about upgrading but it's not clear when they stopped being a general "option", why you need an aftermarket wiring harness for OEM parts etc. Your videos are pretty authoritative as a Toyota person.. Please consider.
Overall I saw the led lights as an available option for 2023 and sold several trucks with them. I’m sure they’re pricey. Last I looked for OEM they were over $700 each. From the factory they’re $495 for the entire package if it came on the truck from the production plant.
Hey Brian, thank you for the response. The description of the lights from the Advanced Technology Package with options that I purchased is "LED headlights and fog lights - includes LED headlights with LED DRL and black bezel LED fog lights" which is the same description as the $485 package. But the confusion is that the lights I have, have the "L" shaped LED DRL and not the sequential turn signals. The sequential turn signal lights only appear in the specifications for the Pro trim level at this point. So wondering if/when the above description changed for other trim models.@@brianruperti
Ah interesting. So the difference comes down to the option code used by your dealer. My store uses LG to code for the sequential signal led lights. We still get off road and sport Tacomas with these lights. Pro shares the same light but also has the TRD and PRO engraved in the lights but overall same style. They are available still and did not change at least in my region.
