New line traditionally have performed poorly. Changing 5 positions on the O-line, rb, TE, and at least 2 wrs including your #1 wr (900 yards), and his OC, DC, THERE'S A LACK OF COACHING CONTINUITY, lack of player continuity, which will lead to poor chemistry. One example were the choice routes Sanders spoke about. Didn't trust his wr to run the correct routes. Chemistry, all the new players. The best teams return the most players. The worst teams return the least amount of players. I cannot see them winning more than 5 games Shedeur had 24tds 3 int 52 sacks For me, 2 sacks on a drive = interception 52 ÷ 2 sacks = 26 27 tds 29 ints SHEDEUR is mediocre
Plus sanders is overrated when he lost as a heavy fav in the last game at jackson state ball was in his hand an he failed how do you win in d1 i bet ewers but if i wasnt sure nico was a lock next yesr he would be my longshot this year
If we're talking top heisman guys, mines are 1. Dillon Gabriel 2. Will Howard 3. Quinn Ewers 4. Donovan Edwards 5. Garrett Nussmeier 6. Cam Rising (if he stays healthy) 7. Ollie Gordon 8. Jaxson Dart 9. Shaduer Sanders 10. Jalon Daniels (if he stays healthy) Waiting to see what Beck does without Bowers and McConkey Waiting to see what Milroe does in a vastly different offense Don't think Arizona will win enough games for Fifita to be in the top 10, but they very much could. After 5 games in, I usually have my predictions set I really wanted to put Nico in, but I'm very cautious doing that with freshman/redshirt freshman. Sam with Arnold at Oklahoma. Gotta see how that Cam Ward/Miami team mesh. Kentucky's Vandagriff is one to look out for Drew Allar is intriguing as a year 2 starter
Beck wasn't top 10 because even with 13 games (before they announced), he had 3700 pass yards and 26 total TDs (22 passing). Beck basically had Quinn Ewers numbers who you said was just okay. Gabriel was on UCF and he had a losing season at Oklahoma year one. Now his 2023 season should have garnered some kind of heisman praise, but the fact was some people were extremely biased and voted their own players in. JJ Mccarthy, Jordan Travis, and Blake Corum being in over him is laughable. Schrader should have been top 10, and Gordon as well, but not over him. If this was legit, he should have been 4th or 5th.
I threw out some early fliers prior to seeing this. Took Howard, Fifita and Nussmeyer. Gabriel wouldn’t shock me the slightest but as a Texas fan I’m still salty and I just can’t bet him 😂
The Alabama offense is gonna be a lot better than they were this past season. Actually got a center who knows how to correctly snap the ball and i think the o line will be much improved
O line is losing Proctor who was developing into a premier guy. Losing Bond, Benson, NiBlack and Burton is tough. Although Jam and Justice could be better than Jase and Roydell, losing both of those guys isn’t great. I am very excited to see how Milroe progresses under Grubb and DeBoer though and there are guys that are ready to take the open spots.
