6' 7'' Ben Saraf from Israel is an intrigue prospect. He is definitely better than Harper and Edgecombe. MVP of FIBA U18 tournament that included player like Traore . He scored 40 pts against Spain anrv4o points against Serbia in the tournament. He is a good ball handler, and rebounder, and assist man for his size.
Anyone notice how similar things seem to shape up to the 2014 draft? -both are very hyped draft classes -both come a year after a weak draft -both got the supposed best highschool player since lebron -the top pick and an african big man team up at a blue blood school -both have a hyped up international point guard

Trust me dwade for vj edgecomb is not the trust at the high school level it’s easy to blow by smaller and slower defenders and get to the rim I am 5’9 yet I have dunked multiple times on small defenders that are around my height or slightly taller but I’m still growing😅
Traore looks amazing and is the only one to have actual good data against grown men in a pro league ! Such good leadership and calm at such a young age could definitely profit to any NBA team (mostly team that plays bigs like wemby and need the PG to be a threat but also a good facilitator)

But I don't think he will, he didnt got Salaun or Risacher not even Ajinça or Dadiet so I think Wemby doesnt have much power yet. And with Chris Paul on the team I dont think they will tank as much as last year so, Idk what's the plan for them
Spurs drafted Castle who's meant to be their PG alongside Wemby, and I don't think that they value their other guards that lowly that they'd make Castle into a SG.

My Comps are: Cooper Flagg- Andrei Kirilenko+, Ace Bailey- Paul George like, VJ Edgecombe- Modern Michael Cooper, Dylan Hooper- James Harden (OKC), Nelson Traore- Bigger Mike Conley+
I think Shawn Marion is a pretty good comp for Flagg except he has way more offensive upside. The comparison I've always made is Andrei Kirilenko, but once again the offense is better. His game doesn't have any weaknesses with the possible exception of the jump shot. Generational defender who can also put the ball on the floor, attack in transition, and make plays for teammates.
@@Eric-B66 this looks feasible as I think the NBA would want him to be at a stable and proven organization that gives him the best possible road to be a great player, similar to Wemby at SA
VJ Edgecombe shot really well from three in his senior year in high school and for the Bahaman team. The Russ and John Wall comps seem off-base for that reason. I think he's more like Edwards than Bailey is.
Am I crazy to say I see similarities between cooper and high school lebron? Lebron was a good 40 pounds heavier but other than that I see a lot of similarities in playmaking, defence and scoring (cooper is probably worse of an athlete then lebron was)
We don't draft PG's anymore? What are you talking about dude. Ja Morant, Scoot Henderson, Reed Sheppard, LaMelo Ball, Darius Garland, Cade Cunningham. There are point guards going in the top 5 of every single draft in recent memory. And then you list Edwards and Harden as guys who were molded into PG, Harden who played SG most of his career and Ant who has never played PG. I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you were probably just trying to refer to the combo guard style that's taken over and the size increase at the position. But the idea that we don't have true PG's coming into the league anymore is ridiculous. There are more of them than ever.
I think it’s funny you’re hesitant to compare any of these players to actual star players. As if Russ or Ant weren’t exactly these type of guys in college. VJ is basically Ant, with even more proof cause he played in the Olympics
The problem is most of these guys highlight packages are just showcasing how they’re really big and athletic compared to high school competition. Who cares about that, every NBA draft bust looked awesome against inferior athletes in high school. We have to see these guys play against the next level of competition to know if they’re awesome prospects.
We need nba expansion now more than ever. There is too much talent coming into the league for only 30 teams. I thought only 2 teams added would be good but honestly I think the league would benefit from 4 new teams two in each conference and then maybe fix some of the conferences these teams are in such as the pelicans being in the Western Conference as well as the grizzlies being in the Western Conference when they should really be in the Eastern conference
2 things I dont really agree with, first of all the idea that Cooper Flagg could be like Franz Wagner offensively, the guy who had a massive shooting slump this year, I think Flagg's shooting is and will be fine, not even a concern and I am eager to see what he does in college. Just because Flagg is also white and 6'9 like Wagner doesnt mean they are alike. Secondly VJ Edgecombe looks like a super talented guard who can shoot, I dont see the John Wall comparison, this guy is more of a 2 guard right? Dont remember Wall ever being noted as a great shooter.
If the Nets are luckily enough to get the #1 pick I'd be all for them trading down to get a pick in the 2026 class and choose Ace for the 2025. I just don't trust Cooper's offense and if you're selecting at #1 you should be able to feel confident running your offense through him and right now I just don't. A defensive frontcourt of Clax, Clowney and Cooper would be exciting but a wing scorer like Ace is more tempting to me.
@@TheCook43 Cooper’s jump shoot is just so ugly and I can’t get over it. Brooklyn has their defenders in Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton they don’t have any scoring from the wing. Ace can be coached to take better shots and give effort on Defense but can Cooper be coached to be a better shooter? idk, maybe? It might take longer.

We know who flag is but not the other bum you mentioned. Do not mention him unless he relevenant. Which don’t seem to be the case. The only exciting/decent prospect in the whole classs is flag.
