So it was a very fun game to watch, but I do have to question calling it a contain when the enemy got "contained" on two bases, then was on 4 bases before you ^^'
lol ya the terran was ahead the entire game and just took his sweet time closing it out, which is probably smart because it would be totally possible to throw this game by just committing really hard into batteries
checked on upgrades: +1 air allows tempest to 3-shot cyclones and 5-shot medivacs; +2 air allows 1-shot scvs, 1-shot marines w/o combat (opponent didn't get until after 8 minutes), and 4-shot vikings; +3 air allows 4-shot medivacs
One of the most non-SC2 games I have seen. It was like watching CnC or something. Very entertaining, refreshing, and I can only hope to see another gane like it.
video idea: Start off building late game units then transition to early game units. (use protoss or zerg since marines and that stuff are good all game)
@@lysy-zn2gg I actually won against skytoss using mass zerglings + ultras last night. Admittedly, in a lower league. When he finally stopped turtling and came to kill me I had bases all across the map. He killed 4 of my bases, I killed all of his stuff with only lings. He realized he was going to lose and tried to come back, but it was too late. My efficiency was laughable but a win is a win.
you can tell by the dps. It's impossible going reaper first into CC to have more than 2 at that timing, and it's not too hard to see it's more dps than a single marine. Consider early game is often the same.
I would be completely fine if SC2 upgrades where called “roach speed”, “cyclone reach” and so on. “Glial reconstruction” and “magnetic whatever” is just fluff, should be a small subtitle instead of the main name.
I cant believe I sat through this game. This was one of the most brain numbing games Ive ever watched. But nevertheless, it was also one of the most interesting. I think this build definitely has potential, can you try make more gateway units and add in carriers next time?
You need to have some scouting ability with them like observers and also get the building killing upgrade as it helps you kill buildings faster before retreating
For the first game, couldn't you set a pylon close enough to the edge of his base to warp in zealots into his base? That would force him to keep a few units at home, and you have less pushing your base.
Your opponents mistake is you had a large installation, so once he got the forth, I like his management, he shoudl of lew his entire production south... and land if he relaly needs units... or live one of each type and move it later.. in this regard, there is nothign valuable there an deven move the cc later... whe nteh vespene is gone.. lol if I was terran.. and I had a narrow escape i woudl consider moving everythign I can away, jsut because its to good of a target that woudl put me behind..
I think the built worked great but you lost focus of your goal and started focusing too much on attacking enemy army, instead of using the Tempests to force him back home and do hit and runs.
As a terran player I absolutely hate proxy stargate with batteries so watching this is triggering me, watching those tempests shoot those poor marines and scvs for free feels like an injustice to me. You're hitting a little scv guy from range with cheap hits and don't fight them face to face? This goes against my moral virtues
A contain is you use yoru building to stop movemetn around hte map, and yo ucan map funny pathing also.. with rallies, for self feeding... 4 more gateways as a wall would of helped so much... he was mining more then you ... around 8.. minutes.
