Building phoenixes to tank for the carriers is genius. Not only do they have more HP per population cost (and about the same resource cost), but also they have light armor and vikings do no bonus damage vs them. And much harder to hit and run by sniping single units for the terran player. In fact they work so well vs vikings that I will replace some stalkers with phoenixes to tank for the colossus.
Well-known counter to vikings when you play skytoss. Vikings also like to kite and single target fire so they do massive overkill damage if they target a single phoenix.
@@Amoeby Dunno about well known... cant going the number of carrier balls that ive seen shredded this way; but indeed the phoenix were very effective in keeping the vikings at a distance.

As a Terran I would add 6 liberators to the air comp - usually we need them anyways since fighting skytoss usually involves disruptors or generally some ground based AA
@@geuros Terrans do that, which is also another reason to get more phoenixes. Nothing on the ground does well vs libs, which is why it usually forces a fleet beacon.
If RU-vid ever strikes down the main channel, Harstem won't lose all of his followers. And he can communicate what happened and how he will proceed in the future.
