Hey Tino! Just gonna say that Jee Veerey saved my life back in 2018. Being a chronic depressive, I have my inner demons that get to me sometimes. But Jee Veerey showed me my purpose, which is to help others. In doing so, I keep my own inner demons at bay -- "I got my demons at my back," as Raoul Kerr says. That being said, Aaj has become my anthem. My daily reminder, if you will, that when my own demons rear their ugly faces, I have the choice to do something more, to be something better. That I, like anyone else, do not have to let the events or pain of the past hold me back. That as long as my heart continues to beat, that as long as I breathe, I can be the force of change for my own life. That being said, these guys are awesome. They are some of the best humans I've ever come across in how they present themselves. And they don't just sing about things -- they put their money, literally, where their mouth is. For Jee Veerey, they originally paid out-of-pocket for 60 1-on-1 counseling sessions. Last I heard, that number has gone up to over 600. After releasing Yaad as a single, they bought an animal hospital called The Posh Foundation a new animal ambulance, so they could go out and rescue dogs, potentially saving over 27,000 animals over 5 years. After it's all said and done, everything this band does, and what this band stands for, is why this band will always have my support. And after they inadvertantly and unknowingly saved my life, I cannot do any less. Plus, this band is also unique in the fact that they are not signed to any label -- they are 100% fully independent. As they say, their label, is their Patreons.

Folk metal is my favorite sub genre ... although it's a very umbrella term because Bloodywood will sound completely differently from mongolian "The Hu" or Russian "Arkona" .... or Togolese "ARKA'N" and Croatian "Manntra" It's an amazing sub genre and I love how it pays tribute to tradition while bringing a new spin to it

I'm from India and I feel really proud because of these phenomenal artists and this fluting-riffing-growling-rapping-uplifting song in particular. Also kinda ashamed that i just discovered this band today. Couldn't get enough of it so checked out reactions to it.
