The reason the Rams player didn't just take his helmet off is because of the how flag-happy the refs have been this year. Kyler Gordon had a broken facemask and took his helmet off to look at it and got flagged for removing his helmet.
He can take it off without penalty if he's on the sidelines, or show the ref before the play. He was celebrating with it off, while on the field. Get your facts straight, "Barry".
@michaellong2439 considering play wasn't blown dead, it obviously wasn't seen by the officials and he did what he had to do. Penalizing a player for the only proper reaction is BS and you know it
Yeah that was Kyler Gordon from the Bears that got flagged for it, but it was because Brandon Powell from the Vikings pulled his facemask so Kyler had to remove his helmet for that reason.
glad it didn’t turn into 2019 again. back then garrett was only in his what ? 2nd, 3rd season ? now, he’s a much more experienced player and has more sportsmanship. here he and everyone else just get a laugh out of it. well played
😂 Myles Garrett had PTSD with that helmet he didn't even want to touch it. He made sure the ref saw that first then was like man I'm not even going to try and pull it off let these people say I'm crazy again.
But if Kyler Gordon takes his helmet off because it's literally broken beyond repair it's a 15 yard penalty. Refs really do decide when they feel like throwing a flag.
