This is my first time commenting, and you've earned my subscription. First, I want to say that this content is thoughtful, I bet you've done a lot of experiments with it. You've given me ideas on what I should look for. Personally, I would go for wood/alcohol, as they are very accessible. Perhaps you could make videos about the kind of food you will make and also the sleep system, I think there will be an audience for that. Btw the child seat converted to a rear rack is genius!

I actually have versions of all those. I’m not an “ultralighter,” but I do like functionality and versatility. My preferred bike packing system is the Trangia Mini T28. I get a pot, pan, a stand and the burner. I need to add a windscreen because the stand doesn’t block the wind. Works for me.

That's great, it sounds like a good setup. I've seen people use just a few layers of tinfoil for a wind screen. It just lasts a few trips, but does the job go keep out the wind
