Thanks man. I was having lag spikes going from 30 to 80 ping back and forth and teleporting all over the field but now I’m chilling at 16 and 20 ping so thank you so much this is a literal gift thank you. Ur the man 👊 have an awesome day
Thank you so much it’s really helped me with lag and not just download speed I’ve been teleporting in siege for a few months and your DNS settings stopped that thank you so much!
Bro you are amazing thank you so much! I had a 4 hour download go down to 20 minutes. You earned my sub. Thanks for also not making the video 30 minutes of random nonsense
@@scavenger_shadow2339 hey I’m having the exact same prob was warzone a game u suffered packet loss in like the yellow and red squares would appear indicating packet loss ?
Wrong. It is the other way around. DNS doesn't affect download speed in most cases. A DNS request is not made during continuous file transfers. DNS is used for resolving domain names to IP addresses. Hope this helps you.
@@saintsaber8491 Correct. I was listing two options for the primary. Technically they do not need to match either. I use 1.1.1.1 as my primary and 8.8.8.8 as my secondary.

Hi. Now have a nighthawk xr1000 router. Do you know if I should turn this feature off on the Xbox back to automatic and then set up the router? Or do I leave the dns setting you suggested on the Xbox and then also set up the router? Thanks
Better way download on your pc dns benchmark make the test 😉 It will tell you the fastest dns for you region just make sure the 2 fastest you choose are from the same company 👍
Ugh it keep says I have good ms in when I check for speed and I forgot what the other world was called. But when I play fortnite or a other game it keep says I have 125 ping so idk it weird for me.
maybe the region you put yourself in, idk if that has anything to do with it, if worse comes to worse just get an ethernet cable and you’ll be set plugging together the router and xbox
