Dear Mr Fiber Spider, I have crocheted for many years. I used to always follow instructions in a crochet booklet or in a magazine. When You Tube came out, it was so great to have so many tutorials at my disposal for crochet projects. I've listened to so many and YOU are the best! You go slowly, you speak clearly and you are a wonderful teacher. This is so important. So many other tutorials go too fast and are not clear. You do a good job at this and I love it!

Agreed! I just started crocheting a year or two ago, using only youtube, and Fiber Spider is my favorite person to learn from! I also like that he includes the count every time. I find it stressful when crocheters don't provide the count on the stitch.

I totally agree! If this stitch had been done by anyone else - I probably wouldn't have even tried it. But watching you do it & listening to your instructions - I am now in love with this stitch pattern!!

Hello Fiber Spider...Yes, this is a beautiful scarf. I started mine about 2 weeks ago. I have to say that I was intimidated....it just didn't look quite right. I did about 9 rows, then set it aside. So, today I'm back to refresh my memory. For whatever reason, today it is going very well and I love it. Thank you so much for your videos. Your voice is very calming and reassuring. You are a wonderful inspiration.

I finished a scarf using this fun stitch. I am trying to figure out how many stitches I started with so I can make another one. I started with a tan color but ran out and I had another skein of the same color, but it had dark flecks in it. I was about halfway through I decided to go ahead and use the one with flecks. It turned out find. Since so many things today are made with coordinating or contrasting materials I think it looks fine. You have to look closely to even see that it is two different yarns. Thanks for a really fun stitch. I love things that while it might take a little concentration to get started but then it becomes a no-brainer. Love, love, love it.

So I'm just getting back into crochet. I was never more than an advanced beginner. This is the first pattern I have made more than once and it is so pretty. Plus it looks very complicated so i get a ton of compliments! This second time I'm using a lighter yarn that is super soft, and is a bit pearlescent. I'm trying a size 4mm hook at it is perfect! I love your videos, even though some are still out of my range of ability. I will get there. Thank you so much!
