Here is some more info. I think Super Smash Bros Brawl actually reused the models of the first cancelled GameCube Kirby game when it comes to the trophies like with Sir Kibble and Bonkers and other characters there, and Kirby's Return to Dreamland I think also reuses some of the background and concepts of the same canceled Kirby game with that Mecha Dedede boss and Magolor probably being that one character in the concept art that looks similar to him but his design changed in the final game.

Hm. What about that cancelled Kirby Tilt-n'-tumble sequel shown off at E3? It was definitely a GameCube game, the controller was an actual GBA.

Nintendo doesnt want you to forget these, there are new recent screenshots of the 3D game and the Pop-Up book one. Return to dreamland has a lot of elements from the GCN game.

Star Allies looks like it took the 4 enemy concept (and Morpho Knight) from GCN and that's it. GCN looks more like it'd be some breed between 64 and whatever HAL was smoking while making Super Star

Even though The first game got revived as kirby star allies, it still has many other differences. And it still makes me want to play the gamecube version. Even if all three games get revived. I love gamecube styles games and games that feel like GameCube.

If the first GCN Kirby game was about DeDeDe stealing Kirby's Warp Star could make the name Kirby's Warp Star Rampage. I assume these would be the bosses Whispy Woods Meta Knight Shipwreck Flotzo Shadow Kirby Betrayed Bandana Waddle Dee Shadow Kirby+ DeDeDe Gang (or DeDeDe Clones ×2) Morpho Knight's Revenge Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright clones Hyness clone Paint Roller clone Magolor's Revenge Magolor Soul Returns

Here's a quick correction, the three games were all different versions of Return to Dreamland and parts of the original version made it into the Kirby series as fan service

That's definitely a possibility too, but I feel like it's closer to Star Allies then anything else, especially down to the main concept / mechanics

@@gaminglakitu I can't find anywhere where it says it was an earlier version of Return To Dreamland. The only article I could find remotely saying something similar was in the Iwata Asks interview, but it's only about Return To Dreamland having an 11 year gap, and then they go in depth on that gap, but not specifically stating these projects were related- just what they had been doing during said time. If you can find a quote providing me wrong, by all means reply with one, and I'll gladly post a correction. Otherwise, I think you're mistaken :)
