There is another thing that no one talks about! When you have kids it’s really hard to get the snacks away at home! This works amazing if you are living on your own! Having a family who has different habits and tastes for food makes it so much harder to have a better lifestyle!

You should create a healthy eating environment for your kids as well so they don't struggle like you are as adults. This is no excuse. Make sure they start healthy habits at a young age. Kids don't need junk daily. It's unhealthy.

@@MT-yx5cu That's true, however, kids are magnets for unhealthy treats. It's just after Easter and we have two huge piles of chocolate eggs and treats that our kids were gifted from other people than us parents. Add Halloween, birthdays, Christmas, Mardi Gras (at least where I live that means LOTS of candy....) - there is a constant influx of chocolate and candy into our house that comes just through the kids....I try to fight it, but it is hard....

@@veronikam3836 take it away if they are bringing an absurd amount of junk home from other places. An occasional sweet or junky food won't hurt them much, but keeping a stockpile in the house where they have access to it daily really is bad parenting. My family members knew not to feed my son a bunch of junk when he stayed over, but they would give him a treat "here and there" which was fine with me. Teach your children in a child friendly way why the junk is not good for them; however, that means educating yourself first.

I stopped having any ice cream, biscuits or chocolate in the house. Increased salad portions and reduced carbs portions. Lost 12kg.

And lots of weight lifting. I got wildly overweight and unfit as a full time carer for my parents and was able to make big changes after my mother died. Could I have done more to stay healthy while being a carer? Possibly. Lifting twice a week might have helped hold the line a bit better than just swimming and cycling. Being more aware of eating to just feel a bit better might have helped to keep it a bit more on a leash.

And I am having the Indian Summer of my climbing life. Recommend people try it out. Climbing gyms are much more convivial places than regular gyms and a climbing workout will exercise your brain as well as your muscles. Climbing in the great outdoors frequently features kangaroos, koalas and eagles, as well as the occasional snake.

I’ve always been healthy. Probably eat eat ice cream 3 times a year (like one ice lollipop or 1/2 cup serving), no biscuits ever, and chocolate probably 5-6 times a year. Exercise 4 days a week or more. No medical condition. Still can’t lose weight. 😢

Gained 10kg in 1 year.. haven't been this heavy since in 10 years.. i noticed it was because I was so dang drained after i got back from my internship.. 3hours of travel per day getting up at 5.30 and back at 6.30 if not later if the bus didn't come. And the 9hour 15 min work we only had 1 half hour break which wasn't really a break since the whole place was crowded and busy.. i snacked so much all day to get some energy. Currently lost 1.5kg in 2 weeks with ease since I have an internship closer to home with more breaks and lesser schoolwork etc.. being tired and having little sleep made me craving soooo much bad stuff

You are still young. “Forever” is a long time. I lost weight and stayed thin for 35 years. The last two years my weight has gone up 45 pounds.

@@CoachViva My grandma gave me a App called fit days for your phone, You go on the app than you go on the scale once it’s done it’ll tell you how much body fat you have,Muscle, Protein, How much calories you burn without excusing and many more

@@kaav8712 In my opinion it depends on how much body fat you have and what you eat and drink, If you slowly stop eating junk food and do work outs, Probably a couple of month or years depending how much body fat and what you eat and drink

I've just found your channel after two years of embracing minimalism and clearing clutter. What an absolute gift to hear about weight loss framed in this way! I love that you use science to back your assertions, and you provide a game plan that is easy to implement. Halfway through my minimalism journey, I realised that it would become inevitable that my weight would start dropping. My pantry is clear and organised, I have more time to cook, and finally, I have the time and space to go to the gym and slowly but surely, the kgs are dropping off. I could never have got here so effortlessly had I not spent the time clearing my clutter and reducing my workload. I am simultaneously sloughing off my unwanted possessions, my digital clutter, and unhealthy personal choices, and it makes total sense that weight will follow along. since your blueprint video, i’ve been following your guidelines which are effortless and effective. i really love how i feel and live. i do have a question regarding hitting my new set point weight and maintaining it. would you be interested in making a video discussing the blueprint for longterm maintenance? i find that part to be the most challenging. either way, thank you for doing what you are doing for us.

Good actionable steps and quite practical. I hope to make changes using some of these steps esp really liked the space organisation tactic and grocery run point. I have a habit of getting things ordered online and in my country - 10 min Apps have become extremely popular, you can get anything and you don't even have to tip. I felt myself getting addicted to them for snacks, now have made changes to go physically and get groceries once a week and reduce buying online

Great tips that I haven't heard before, thanks!! I find eating off a side plate useful to control portion size, I can always have more if I'm still hungry but a full plate even though it's smaller often tricks the brain into thinking it's had enough food.

I used to watch so much TV like 90% of my free time. Even when I was on the PC, just two devices. Since I moved out the TV into another room I ... maybe turn it on once a year. I watch on the Laptop but then I actually WATCH it or do something and listen to the video, but not two sources of distractions at once.

No snacks while watching TV?? ... hadn't thought of that. Okay, new behavior. Thank you. Here's one I added almost a year ago and it has helped me: meditation. Simple mind clearing meditation, where the goal is to think of nothing (harder than it sounds). The relaxation of this practice helps to see HOW to reach other goals.

Strangely enough, I snack less with more snacks in the house. I live with my husband and four kids and always felt like I had to rush to eat the goodies like chocolate or biscuits, because they would be gone before I knew it! The truth is my kids usually forget about the sweets, since they are stored out of sight, and it was mostly my husband and me "competing" for them 😁. I now have my own stash of sweets. I just went to check: there's good quality chocolate, granola bars, caramelized peanuts and banana chips in there now. Now that my stash of goodies is "safe" I find it much easier to go without. I have no idea why this is, but it works for me.

I hardly eat junk food like once a month or once every 3 months I have 32% body fat (Most of it is the stomach) 30% or above belly fat is to high for a human to maintain, My weight is pretty standard but I’m not worried about that since it’s in the green along with my muscles, I burn 1272 calories per day which is low to burn fat in any part of my body, I already burned that fat every where but the stomach but my stomach is losing the belly, I no longer have my stomach covering up my lower half, When I’m exercising I use my phone to search up exercises that make me lose weight,More energetic and less stressed when I’m going to the store

I found out I am more lazy than gluttonous. I just simply do not keep unhealthy snacks at home, I do not buy them during my regular shopping. It reduces 90% of my cravings: usually I am like „naaah, I do not want chips this much to go to store now” and make a tea instead :D Plus for that 10% of cases I need to go for a walk to get my chips or chocolate, which adds a little healthy factor to that :)

the best tip is to stop buying it! if you dont have it in the house, then you cant eat it. many people are too lazy to even leave the house to get a bag of crisps

Bc in my opinion, you'll be like a kid that when your parent says, "don't do that anymore!!" And it just make you wanna do it more. Like that, like. Completely blocking it out will just make you think about it more and when you finally gave in, there is a high change you might end up binging on it. At least that's just my opinion, let me know if u agree!

I want to lose weight. I m going to do it by following method. Sleep 6-8hrs daily. Naturally when exhaustion kicks in and naturally when awake. Drinking 2litres of water everyday. With 1litre drunk right in morning. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Moderate amount. Not very light. Or very heavy. Breakfast and lunch normal hungry amount. Dinner to be kept light. Very less portion. And if still hungry. Drink water. Drinking 1-2 glass of water before meal to naturally eat less. Cleaner diet but not super healthy. Not yet. Skip snacks. Try to remove it and eradicate for life. No need of snacking on oacked foods and desserts and ice cream and chocolate. Dont snack and dont keep those things. Walk 15k steps daily. Pedometer on. And 15k steps daily. No if buts hows omgs Cardio 15mins daily. Full body. Continuous. Properly. Exhaust urself. Push youtself IN MORNING after fasted for lot of time. Dumbbels to be done in evening. After meals and in fed state. Stretching at night. Do power yoga and posture training too. In morning early morning do like 1000-2000cal loss exercises. Reallllly uses up fats storage like anything. Early morning before breakfast. Also do massaging of body and lymphatic drainage and sauna and everything. To get energy moving and releasing everyday. Also drink detox juices. Already breaking down whole body and putting body in anabolic stage. Might as well build it with good atoms and molecules. So that everything stays toxin free. Also take mutivitamin supplements. And iron and calcium and d3 powder. And other meds needed of any other diseases. Also take care of outer body too while this. Shower 3-4 times a day. Scrub well. Hairwash well. Remove all sweats. Buy many good perfumes. After sweating so much reward urself with good scent. Also reward urself with nice lipstick or tshirt or something. Keep looking good wherever in journey. Always lose more weight than needed. Example if u gotta be 50kg. Then lose till 47kg. And then eat a lil more for soemtime and gain that subcutaneous fat back till 50kg. This isnt more defined muscle look but for soft feminine look. Also dance and move more. Feel sexy and light and everything. Scrub scrub scrub. And massage massage massage. At the same time. Go to therapy. Usually weight gain and obesity and binging and not working is related to mental health problems. So solve that too while losing weight. Also get a degree or soemthing. Target in career and excel at it too. Ppl wont celebrate weightloss. But a degree after a year along with weightloss and shine and good mental health will surel e celebrated. Also find a new friend or lover during this time. That helps too with serotonin and oxytocin. Also watch tv while exercising. Its a lot of fun. Be calm. Stress free. Overthinking free. Procrastination free. And keep moving ahead in all spheres of life ❤❤

This makes me hate reality. What kind of world have we let develop? I can't believe there are people overseas who still struggle to get enough clean water and food and here we are having to play all these mental tricks just to remain normal in a society that's designed to make us sick and sad. Your content is good, But - why do you have to put these God awful mix n match of pics where the end result looks like a scene from the conjuring or the exorcist. 1. @0:00 that's an AI generated "before " heavier image...why would you do that rather than insert a true photo? Weird. 2. These videos are HEAVY on MENTAL activity, perpetually over analyzing every little thing. By doing this you are cutting off from your natural intuitive knowledge. Get Out Of Your hamster -wheel of thinking ...and RELAX. The fact you need to carry around your phone is pretty telling of some emotional issues. Address that first. Habitual over-thinking is a SYMPTOM in itself. Of an underlying need to grasp and control everything. That is the stress- based ROOT CAUSE behind any weight gain and/or other disease. Ask yourself: what am I so scared of that I need to fool myself into thinking I NEED to have control? Reply
