Follow up processes 10-15 times?? Anyone who is following up that many times A. Does not have the skill set or value the client is looking for and B, is wasting their time. Follow up twice at most and at the end of the second follow up, state if it’s not the right time, keep me in mind for the future. If you have a compelling offer and your content is excellent, you want need to chase anyone.

@@gatorcellman when you've been doing this for 10 years and have a strong presence in the market that's actually what should happen, well done. For those that aren't yet at the stage where people are actively reaching out to them, they will benefit from being persistent and doing more follow ups.

This is a soft question, but how do you handle disappointment if you invest more time in following up? Do you follow-up with all leads or only qualified ones? I generally follow up once and leave it after that. I wonder if following up repeatedly signals to the client that it's okay to unresponsive, which will cause trouble in the actual engagement?

Kartick great question. Go deeper. Why are you reaching out to these people? Are you viewing them as transactions, or as building relationships and wanting to serve and add value? Remove the disappointment if they don't reply right away. People are busy. It's not personal. Continue showing up and adding value for them. They will thank you for that.
