I believe the issue people have with Escanor is that they expected much more from an anniversary unit that's meant to celebrate the end of the main series.
Powercrept stats is the biggest issue in the whole game. Power crept passives, fine, but stats are intrinsically crushing characters from thriving EVER. That’s why I love Dokkan. 9 years in and baseline stats are still basically the SAME
Not really. Defense went up from 8k to 12k nowadays and ATK and HP stats jumped from 10k ish to 20k+ lol (it's significant) I get your point tho, for 2 years or slightly more now stats have been very stale which is good for a games meta. You legit run some of these older units for free while in Grand Cross, after few months the unit is not even an option anymore, sometimes weeks. Rarely ever do they age like Estarossa.
@@DragonRyuken777 The first The One Ultimate got shafted by pure stats. It is a tactic so that when the last OP character of that line becomes washed and cannot compete anymore, they release a new one with updated stats. Predatory character development at its finest
@@ANIMEYMOUS13 I say this Escanor is strong and op but not as op as DK Meliodas. I think the reason why JP says that this Escanor sucks and expected more from him is because he doesn't do the same amount of Damage or more than DK Meliodas or were hoping he breaks the game with all his other counter parts and the requirements to 6/6 him too
The only reasons I wouldn't mind Escanor being even stronger is that he deserves it AND is a 5th anniversary character which is a pretty special mark in itself. I do fully understand the concern of being broken and all, just feel like if someone deserves to be broken, it's most definitely Escanor. And additionally, him being broken AF on release would mean he would remain viable for much longer. Yes, it ends up toxic down the longrun, but so was Purgatory Ban since release. But what did they do? Kept releasing things left and right to make him EVEN STRONGER. Who knows, maybe Escanor will keep getting support via new units from here on out too? We will see. It would just be even more sad to see him downfall hard like previous T1U, especially given he is such a special-time release of a character, both story-wise and 5th Anniversary mark-wise.
I acually have a lot of succes with meli gelda lr zeldris and lr Liz as a f2p I can get to champ 1 becuase move zeldris card then aoe then single target their threat and it’s gone. And at that point turn 1 gelda is stacked up with 250 000 extra hp
@@dantesparda5742 turn 1 move zel card then use his AoE and then his single target which most of the time 1 shots geldas and many other characters. Then you just play with 1 more card in hand and a halfstacked gelda with tarmiel link that cannot die.
Honestly still think UR Gowther is so much better by a long shot even on DK I’ve been farming DK Like it’s a walk on the park with Gowther in it just 1 team too
Lostvayne is not a character anymore. He is a symbol of OP character 😍. His arrival is always so meta breaker or game changer. He is not considered an era of 7dsgc.
u know the crazy thing about demon team is gelda is the only good female character for demon team,most of the demon teams are filled with male characters....and besides gelda is hot lol....we need need more female demons and i know she isnt a demon,but more like an unknown demon hybrid and good unknown team is pretty much has more female characters than male ones
@outdouce9980 I get that, but it's not like escanor and meli are competing for the same spot on the team. If anything, ban and gowther are competing for a spot. If you have meli an/or esca, they are both must runs regardless.
I have a question, why does my DKM's lifesteal do less than my opponent even though I completed all my costumes and set it with lifesteal sets? Is it because of box CC?
