I can't stop watching your videos, I am not a fisherman but I love watching, it's relaxing. Bru you living the life, the ocean on your doorstep and you can whenever you feel like
Can we all take a moment to appreciate how much effort Kent's puts into these videos . Kent's is like one of the best RU-vid channel and fisherman in South Africa. Have a good one Kent's👍🎣
Been watching some of your vids and enjoyed it much. The older gentleman always with you. Thank you and much reapect. Lot of wisdom about fishing and always cracking jokes. You guys rock👍👍👍👌👌🎣🎣
Just a tip if you chucking in a paddle tail or any lure for that matter when its still dark, overcast or in dirty water...rather use a dark color, makes a better silhouette, so more visible to predators. Use, clear neutral colors in clean water and daylight hours. Love you guys laid back content...and obviously, the chow looks tops!
That’s right Adrian, Darren actually went to get us some yesterday and we tried them out last night. No fish yet 😉 but we will continue until we get some Kob. Chows was excellent, thanks 🤙
Really enjoy watching your show the laid back comentry is natural and intertaing plus the cooking part really makes it even more interesting, keep up the good work
Great video..just love your expeditions. My personal opinion about missing the fish 3 times was...I suspect it was Shad... they very difficult to catch using a circle hook. Well done on the 4th attempt. Can't wait for the next video.
Thanks Fabian, glad you’re enjoying the content. Ya was really hard to tell what fish, I’ve had a similar experience at that spot and also funny enough after the 2nd attempt to get un stuck, was a Shad on the other side of the line 🤷♂️😄
I know you were targeting Cob..all I'm saying that the Shad was also interested in that bait..but the terminal tackle wasn't suitable for them to get hooked. Great fishing..love your videos.
Howsit kent, I see you got that spin set up larnie... Beauty.... Great video guys loving every bit of it, now we need to put that spin set up to the test...

Hey Aston was wondering when you going to comment 😃😃 ya been good to get out there again. Weather has been bad and we’ve been busy with other projects but we are back. Might go out for a Kob session tomorrow evening
Good luck with the kob but I'm sure u will catch it..... The weather not playing the game lol. It was really good to see you and the team having fun and joking around
Nice set up bru...i have the previous Amia kob special 11 foot xxh I think it's a 1 to 4oz and it felt similar to the spin xh that your friend is using, just wanted to know how do u know for sure that the spin zero you're using has the Amia blank I know though there are plenty good rods out there that are much cheeper and great quality and my next spinning set up will be the new Loomis hmg 12 foot that thing feels wicked to do distance casting for snook and garrick on light braid with spoons and the cob special will be for bait fishing lol it's a bit to heavy to be casting all day...btw top videos bru keep up the good work.
Ya they are awesome rods. They built on the Amia blank I was told this by Adam Lyon, the specialist at Luckys Manaba. He had been selling Assasin for the past 8 yrs to date. He deals with Assasin and knows all the technical aspects of the making of this rod and others. He is a reliable source and my go to for all my tackle. I have a loomis 12ft but it’s for a multiplier set up. Landed some good fish in that and I treasure that rod. Still in mint condition sort of like a momento at the moment. Love that brand as well. Thanks Mikyle and take care 🤙
Wow Kent what a season your having . The DKD team did it again. Derick had a haircut he will be back again. Just love the great spirit . My tanne het gewater . Great stuff manne
@@KentsFishing sandpits the good old days. Digging a hole nice and deep. Drop in a tarp fill it with water. Then catch and stock your liveys. Enough for the day. Fished right through the night. Memories manne. Just love your team. Gooi mielies manne.
Howitz Kent, I agree some fisherman Wil never change, Bt in da same token, some of these guys walking their dogs, should Pic up after their dogs, it's gross wen u step on the poo.
Hi Martyn, yes our traces are different. This is what we found works here. If I made my hook snoot longer then I would not have such a successful hook up rate but rather miss the fish. Our currents, water is different, it must have something to do with it. However that being said either way we would still catch fish just at a lower hook up rate
I used the Assasin Spin Zero 11 ft XH 1-3 ounce Darren used Assassin Blue fish Special 13 ft 2-4 ounce. Derek doesn’t fish with Assasin rods. He has a 14 ft Elbe
