Been in 9 years Long Distance, before marriage. Things will get dull on many days, you feel like your partner has lost interest. You won't have topics to talk about. Expectations and feelings were hidden. To tackle these we played some questions games like Lovify. It was a game changer. We never thought a game can add excitement to our relationship. It was a game where we had to guess each others expectations. And, it got us talk and know a lot about each other. Now, whenever we get time, we try to enjoy it. 💞

Even in close distance relationships, conversations get boring and repetitive, life isn't always BURSTING with excitement and things to talk about constantly.

I recently reconnected with my high school boyfriend from 45 years ago and it’s been great. We’ve been talking on the phone for almost a year and we met a couple of weeks ago and it went fantastic but I understand about giving each other space. We talk five nights a week and we’re running out of things to say so we choose not to text or contact each other during the day on the nights that we’re going to talk so that we’ll have something to talk about. Excellent advice.

I'm in a long distance relationship and my boyfriend always has to talk to me everyday and my boyfriend has put up with alot with me in 14 months from the death of my daughter to my niece being diagnosed with cancer 3 lockdown in the UK my cousin and great uncle dying. We chat a few mins twice a day and a phone call once a week..I think that's minimal and not clingy. I’m in a long distance relationship right now and the truth is he’s in the military. He’s deployed, we are we don’t communicate. He doesn’t want to communicate. I try to get him to open up to me about things that he does that doesn’t have anything to do with his work because he cannot talk about his work and he doesn’t want to communicate with me there’s no communication, other than the same old routine about I love you. I miss you. How are you? It’s the same old thing over and over again so you know what it’s not all about the women doing wrong. You may need to know how to communicate better.

It's only realistic to know that he's got a schedule with his job, & a time difference can be tricky, but everyone gets the same 24 hours in a day. No one works 24/7. Time difference aside, make your partner a priority during their off hours.

What if he likes us being in touch most of the times ? Why then should the space be necessary ? Yet the distance in it self is really a distance enough .
