took the lyrics too this quite literally, i was on the dole for seven years til the job centre told me to bugger off and get a job, mind you still good days ;)
Great photos of skinchick haircuts with tails and feathers. And showing how Oi! was early place for gay girls to be themselves because it was the music that mattered. Brisbane Queensland Australia had great skinhead scene.
They all had their merits. Gotta say Panther for me though, because the stuff he was on was my introduction to the band (and Oi, really, generally). But I do love this LP the most.
Roi on vocals. Hoxton Tom was the heart and soul of this band. Hodges was awesome as was H Harmer on bass when Hoxton played guitar. Their sound improved when Hoxton moved to Rhythm section to keep their songs tighter. I dig Roi as the best 4 Skins vocalist. He was the most real.
"Ainda cotinuo achando que o preconceito espiritual,e à pena de morte canônica...;bom,sem abstrações,continua extremista direitista de peso...parabéns,estou me sentindo até trentado's à aderir, mais ficdou mais difícil de aderir com a grande demanda e a pouca oferta'f''s nacional,no exterior, porém,à situação poderia ser outra, gostari,(remete,à(?)música(rock)que Hatzinger's não tivesse renunciado...haiel...
+aarthoor Yes, he was a Skinhead, but his "look" (I hate this shitty word) was more near to Mods or Suadeheads, while the guitar player and the drummer are the classic Oi! Skinheads. Hoxton Tom (the bass player) was a Suadehead or a Herbert, I don't remember.
Roi was a skin in the last resort, this wouls have been 1983/84 when a lot of skins went herbert or casual, Hoxton Tom was herbert for ages, there a photo of him on the cover of Cockney Rejects greatest hits vol 1 album
