for some time ive really wanted to hear and talk about the issue of gynocentrism in the church today. i really enjoyed this talk. personally i think God brought me to the red pill to save my broken world view and my broken view of relationships. Paul, it was your content particularly that really helped me out. and of course for us christian people it can seem challenging to reconcile some of the red pill ideologies with that of what churchianity has been telling us all our lives. i believe with enough proper thought and reflection that parts of the red pill wisdoms are more than reconcilable with true biblical thinking.

The fact that Eve was equally informed about the consequences of eating the forbidden fruit as her husband was when questioned by the serpent implies that Adam did his due diligence in imparting every bit of that prohibitive knowledge to her. Adam fully exercised his due diligence in warning her. Women have also been the special, sacred cows of society. Why was only Adam held accountable yet both held responsible for eating the forbidden fruit? What is Eve’s level of moral agency compared to Adam’s? Nominally on paper generally speaking women are regarded as possessing and equal level of moral agency as men; however, in practice they operate as inferiors. Dr. Paul, you had stated that husbands should give what their wives need not what they want. The husband and father is the intermediary between the government and his family. Help and charity towards women should be mediated through their husbands, fathers, trusted elder male relatives.
Once, one hour into a 2hour meeting, an Ol-Lady said she'd been feeling unsafe for the past 50minutes. Some of us immediately jumped to attention and tried to save her drowning in her ocean of anguish. Others asked questions. We enquired further, gently, with care and compassion and support and validation. After 15mins of talking about it she admitted that she was feeling "unsafe" since Young-lady had joined the meeting 10mins late and hadn't interrupted the meeting to apologise to us. It took another 15mins for her to admit that there was something between the two ladies who'd never met before but she couldn't say what that was. Ol-lady still wouldn't admit that she was angry at Young-lady, and definitely wouldn't go anywhere near how she was jealous of relative status of young lady despite talking constantly about how she's been feeling "invisible" since she turned 50 (and that younger wmn get all the attention in life) for the entire rest of the meeting. The entire second hour of the meeting was about dealing with the displaced disowned disturbed feelings of an old lady being jealous & angry about a younger wmn simply being there. Couldn't make it up.
I was told by a so-called Christian friend of mine, who is a pastor and a missionary, that when one spouse sins, the other spouse is automatically guilty of that same sin, regardless of whether or not the one spouse was privy of the other spouse's sin. He made this false claim based on the fact that the Bible teaches that once a man and woman are married, they are one flesh.
@@Paul_Elam, Yes, and I went to him for help and counselling, because I thought he was a friend I could trust about the havoc my newlywed BPD wife was causing me. When I attempted to refer him to passages in I Corinthians 7, which refute his false teaching, he exploded on me and talked over me so I couldn't make my point. Why? Because I used the word divorce; the idea was in the passages. However, I didn't say I was getting or wanting a divorce. I was trying to illustrate that according to passages in I Corinthians 7, it is permissible for the believing spouse to allow the unbelieving spouse to leave a marriage, without the believing spouse being guilty of any sin. Had he let me make this point, he could have seen the folly in his false doctrine.

I have seen more than once... a wife "going ballistic" on her husband! If you want to divorce, just divorce... but going ballistic out of nothing... multiple times a day... I don't understand. And yes... in all the cases I witnessed, the man was a simp. Maybe that's a clue... Does anyone understand this kind of female behavior?
I made the mistake of trying to be easygoing and overly understanding at the start of my marriage. While I wasn't as mature as I should've been when I got married, I grew and matured and got better, but my wife has used my easy-going and immature attitude in the early part of our marriage to justify her increasingly abusive, hateful, reviling and cruel behaviour to me. Red flags were there in the beginning but I did not anticipate them to increase exponentially once married. I had to chuckle a little when Paul said that marriage can be wonderful because that is the exact opposite of what I have experienced. I find marriage to be damaging emotionally, psychologically, spiritually and financially. Simply put I consider it the most overrated institution on the planet. So much so that I have even started to entertain the consideration that Christianity is a false religion. I'll have to do some thinking on the admonition contained in Titus 2:5. Pastor Edgington goes into the old Christian minister standby of "your marriage may be crappy but it's a lifelong covenant so stick it out until death (sorry for your tough break but nobody ever said marriage has anything to do with happiness)". Never mind the massive pressure that ministers put on young unmarried men and women by preaching that marriage is some ultra-rewarding unalloyed good, God wants everyone to get married, and if you don't get married your just a selfish, immature individual. Everyone will have their own take, but I'll just point out that most pastors have a personal financial interest in keeping the pews filled with married people and kids.

He was going fairly well until he turned Paul's admonition to stay single into its opposite. That's a straight out inversion of what the text says, and a huge red flag. The Old Testament urged men to marry and have a large family, because God declared that Israel were to be as numerous as the stars of heaven and the sand of the sea. However, that is not the emphasis of the New Testament at all. Quite the opposite, in fact. Paul's teaching is very clear, and merely echoes what Jesus Himself said to the apostles.

I suspect the Bible commends marriage because the books were written, edited, & selected for inclusion into the collection by those who wanted their numbers to grow. An obvious reason Judean tribes would promote marriage and frown on homosexuality is because they were surrounded by nations which were larger & better equipped. Every ounce of meat for the meat grinders of war, construction, & agriculture was necessary. Modern marriage in a Western culture is not marriage. It is long-term dating with paperwork. It places liability on the husband & indemnity on the wife. No thanks.
The bible is the word of God. Biblical marriage is nothing like today's unholy alliances. Biblical marriage as ordained by God is not even required to be legal.

@@Paul_Elam we need to shine light on “sins of the women”, we have shined enough light on “sins of the men”. Plenty of good examples about women sin in the Bible. One good example I can think of is the wife of the Egyptian general who wanted to have sex with that Jewish servant, in the book of genesis. Only Bible changes hearts and minds, nothing else will.
@@daves2520 sin of reviling is an eye opener to me. There are a lot of examples of women sins in the Bible. We just need to bring it out. Men and women sin differently. Right now we only use sin in reference to men, and there are many examples and Bible verses we use to describe men’s sin. But we don’t have any studies about women sins. There are example of women hypergamy in the Bible, and Dr Bible can use those verses to describe hypergamy to men from biblical perspective, but he needs to use Bible verses, otherwise church guys are not gonna listen to him. Bible verses will convince the hearts.

If he was full of the Bible verses in his talk I’d assume his book is also of full of them, but now I’m not sure, I think he is dry well. Everything I’ve heard today I’ve heard somewhere else before. Paul I have been watching and following your content for over 13 years now and this is the first time i can honestly say that i have to vehemently disagree with you. Religion in not the answer for Red Pill men, and i think that religion try to co-opt the Red Pill Movement will cause ALL MEN more HARM than good.
