All these I bought a Carpuride and after 3 nights in the garage moving it around to find a suitable position I decided to return it to the seller. It just looked so out of place on a bike. I see the benefits of using Carplay / Android Auto but it needs to be incorporated into the bikes OEM Display. Also the lack of a quick release cradle for any of these devices is a real issue. There all Chinese and Iv'e seen no reliability long term tests or anyone returning a unit for repair describing the ease of process. Iv'e parked this idea for the time being. When they've been around a little longer and this sort of info is available I may revisit.
How did you manage to return the Carpuride ? I want to return mine but they tell me its expensive and are offering 40% discount refund and to keep the unit.
@@stevecockton6624 If an item is being sold by an offshore company ( ie not in the Uk ) I always try if possible to buy through Amazon. This is what I did in this case. The reason being that Amazon's return policy is absolutely second to none. With the Carpuride I took this to my local Amazon collection store and that evening had a full refund in my account. No quibbles no issues. I hope you get sorted.
@@stevecockton6624 Bought via Amazon - No issues No Quibble . Refunded in full. Your experience sort of answers one of my reservations ie how are you handled by the manufacturer when you want to return an item or have issues. Poorly by the look of it. Hope you get sorted.
@@stevecockton6624 I have replied a couple of times but they keep dissapearing. Bought my unit via that big River in the jungle. no issue with returning.
