The fact that Druid gets a four mana rare dragon with refresh and DK gets an epic 7 mana minion with next spell costs 7 less AFTER excavating twice is mind boggling.

Ive been actually trying a 30 card Reno Controll Warrior with excavate package and a lot of controll, and its been performing SUPER well. Fiy I am in diamond 3 atm.

Personally I am playing the dragon druid deck showcased in the video. It can get really early on board, like one game on turn 3 I had a 3/2 Whelp with a 4/6 Nestmatron and a 6/7 Protodrake. It's the best performing deck for me, it can comeback against aggro, with a good opener it can be agressive enough to beat reno and any other slower deck.

1:47 Hi Ho Silverwing is an interesting choice. It's a great individual card, but it's diluting your resurrect pool. You'd much rather get a big yellow man off of Tyr and Tyr's Tears. Not sure if it's worth the tradeoff.

I actually had an amazing time with Hound Hunter for some reason. I never really make it in higher ranks but hound hunter lets me fight all the aggro with a turn 8 kill if they try and have a board at all and against the Reno/ dragon decks you can keep consistent pressure. Give it a try

Hound hunter has been really good at lower ranks for a longer time, same with reno hound hunter. Falls off more at higher ranks sadly

I’ve been having decent success with Elemental Shaman. Just curving out and trying to get as many Storm guys as possible. Does hard lose to Paladin though

Zeddy, question for you. As a player with a mostly golden collection, do you disenchant all the non-golden copies of your cards, for the small amount of extra dust you’d get? Or if you have a signature legendary, will you dust the golden legendary version and the normal non-golden version? Thanks for the advice!

I have been playing plague DK exclusively for about a month now, and can’t resist talking about the list shown. According to Donkey the decklist is pretty flexible, as differences of four cards between lists is common. Until recently Hardcore fan wasn’t in every list either, but nowdays it is x2 as long as Paladin exists. Outside of that matchup and maybe mage the card is very low impact and hard to play around as there are no one mana cards. Sylvanas is great in the mirror (but you still don’t keep it in mulligan), but too slow for most matchups. Unless you face other DKs I’d cut it. School teacher is a popular choice as it’s a decent play on turn 5, as the deck would really like to contest the board on turns 4 and 5 better. Magatha is the other popular choice as you only run 4 spells. Many lists also run Finley, just to have more chances to play Helya early, and because it’s a great fit for a deck with so little card draw. If you want to be REALLY greedy you cut the chained guardians for something, with the idea of resurrecting either Primus or Reska. This logic is dubious at best because the chained guardians are one of the best draws in many matchups, and often better resurrect than Primus. But this is one way to fit all your favourite legendaries in the deck. That about covers the cards that get switched around between the lists. ETC might sound like a good idea but it’s probably too slow and you’d rather just have Magatha or Sylvanas. At least that was my experience trying it out.

Honestly play Pala. Dragon Druid feels clunky af, i've talked to a few players and they all agree. If you tempo your Golem gets weaker, if you dont ot cant tempo you lose to Pala, the deck needs really good hands to be good and the only reason why it has a good wr is because it's so good at beating weak decks. Doesn't matter if your deck is clunky if the opponent has to ff against Golem... HIghlander anything is really not worth IMO, Shaman is your best bet but the decks are expensive and struggle vs Pala since you are unable to run multiple copies of the strong cards vs the class. Fast Pala will demolish you if you dont draw your limited answers and slower Pala will outvalue you even if you are the one playing Highlander xD Rainbow Mage is still fine, but definitely weaker than b4, still it's solid vs Pala and thus it gets a good spot in the meta. Plague is pretty good but, say it with me, it struggles against Pala! You either build and mulligan to defend against the more aggro versions and lose to the high value ones or you try to squeeze value and get blown out of the water by Divine Shielded aggression. You can't really face both sides of Pala, wich is a problem :D Aggro Pure Pala Earthen Pala Pure Midrange Pala (the best one IMO) Highlander Pala All solid decks with around 60% wr and with the playrate of all of them combined is the highest. The only non yellow options IMO are Druids or Plague, but if you wanna climb fast and easy you should just be the problem. Who would've though that nerfing the two decks that were keeping Paladin in check (a class that was dominating 2 weeks ago and that only got a minor nerf) would've created a problem?!?!?

I haven't checked if the cheapest treant druid really goes legend. I will check it later on. I am diamond 8 now. I hope you are right and with correct play it does. I have never been legend b4. Only golden 5 till now, so... I am excited. That is the only 1 i can make & i play hearthstone since 2015 or 2016. Imagine that.. after my enrage warrior that i had a 10 win streak just got nerfed. Thanks for the cheap good decks anyway, working or not.. continue helping us f2play players 😊

Why is Splish Splash Whelp two mana? And a 2/1. When you run so many dragons and have so many ways to draw and generate dragons that it will always be active. Why? Oh yeah. Druid has to be completely broken.

I got 3 legends in different servers in 9 days 2 f2p accounts, maybe spent like 400 dust on crafting only one epic using elemental mage all these decks recommemded are slow tbh. and only paladin gets the fun of building different decks ,tbh whatever deck paladin come up with will be overpowered at this point just too many op cards and it adds up over so many versions.

Dude the Reno Shaman I have about 80% wr at the moment and am in plat 4 and climbing easily. So far the only problem is enrage warrior. Otherwise easy peasy

You'll see once you reach the high level. I got to legend thanks to it but there's too many decks that can counter it. Druid if they mana cheat and get the taunt dragons before you have the mana for the strong boardwipes, mirror and Dk doesn't let you use your reno and hollidae. Sif mage can answer you in anything. Great deck and my fav but not in a good spot atm.

I have been playing dragon midrange since the start of this expansion and have gotten close to crafting other decks multiple times. It’s just such an efficient deck tho - great matchups other than paladin, quick games. Every time I consider crafting another deck I end up sticking with dragon druid.

Enrage Warrior was ridiculously strong. I climbed using Enrage Warrior from rank 2000 legend to rank 100 legend in a week. It beats everything.

@@Lance.Gardenhire Yes, basically, Warrior was nerfed for good reasons, but I think they targeted the wrong cards. Trial by Fire is way more ridiculous than the phoenix.

If your dying often to golems at 5/6 then you need alot more board clear in your deck. As a dragon druid player I'm all too aware that 6 health is really quite easy to clear.

Rainbow mage really didn’t change a bit. As a main mage I knew the nerf wasn’t gonna do anything, and I’m really glad it didn’t. People always cry about mage meanwhile paladin has been broken and pretty much untouched for more than 2 years. And rn Druid is also nuts. Same with arcane hunter.

astalor is slow and gives you a finisher in every deck which is pretty good and enrage warrior is still s-tier. They always look on every archetype and not on the crappy hsreplay overall winrate. f.e. excavate warrior get buffs. also yes, pala is still too strong. but no reason to hate, they will nerf it soon for sure. Its a hard challenge to get a complex meta like hearthstone standard balanced.
