Bob Hayes WAY back in 1964 ran the 100m in 10.06 on a cinder(packed DIRT)track. on that same loose dirt track he ran 9.91 in the semi with wind just barely over legal. his anchor on the relay is STILL the fastest 100m distance covered 8.6 seconds. and to those who say these times were "hand timed" in tokyo in 64 the watch company Seiko had ELECTRONIC timing,it was the 1st year implemented. as for the "fast" players of today they ran/run on modern fast synthetic tracks, let me see a Demps etc run 10flat on a loose dirt track. Hayes the fastest player ever ! also 1st man under 6seconds in the 60yd dash(5.9), hell in the NFLS fastest man Comp olympian ron brown(rams/raiders) holds the record 6.08 and again on a modern surface track Hayes' was on cinder.
terrell beasley I don't know why I am replying to you because you are obviously a troll and have zero knowledge about anything sports related. Charles broke every single track record at the University of Texas. His 100m was recorded as being .39 faster than chris johnson. His 60M was faster than Jacoby Ford. Troll is a troll
