The chronograph is, with the exception of the date, the world's most popular complication and one which we have all come across at some point. Similarly, the chronograph is probably also the most widely interpreted function with every type of watch from the most formal to the most rugged offering this option to a customer.
But, if you look back through history, it is actually remarkably easy to see just a handful of watches which have changed and reinterpreted the chronograph. In today's video, join me on a journey back through five of the most influential chronographs from the likes of Omega and Audemars Piguet.
