For that 80 ton stone, one theory is that a road from the top of the tower to the ground was built and stone was pulled by elephants. Also, no cement and mortar was used in the construction of this temple, just granite blocks interlocked with one another. It still stands tall after many earthquakes. Read about it, it's pretty cool.

In Brihadeeshwar Temple, one of the theory is that after constructing the whole temple, it was covered fully with sand and it was converted to act as a road to the top and elephants were used to carry and pull the stone to the top where it was placed and the elephants returned in the same manner in the opposite direction.
@a141tho2

It is no theory, it is documented that they created a 2 mile inclined slope, used wood as rolling wheels and pulled it with manpower. Fun fact: a twin of this temple and konark sun temple was made in north India in area around north west pakistan. Obviously isnt there anymore.

The Konark Temple is situated in Orissa State near to Bay of Bengal. The 52 ton magnet had been fixed on the top of this temple to make it float the Idol of Sun God . However, in the short run, this magnet started to pull the passer by ships thru' Bay of Bengal. Thus the Britishers forcibly removed the said gigantic magnet from top of temple. I visited Ellora (and the Kailasa temple) just a few days ago. It was mind-blowingly magnificent (not a single joint or brick anywhere ... everything is just one single rock carved out ... except for some staircases laid out by the govt for tourists). It was also SAD to see the destruction caused by invaders on many of the beautiful statues. They have also unfortunately blocked-off access to top of the mountain to get a top-down view of this temple (apparently, some accidents happened to some cocky teenagers who believe they are invincible).
@redname9172
@redname9172 Год назад
Actual mystery of the kailasa temple is that they have had to dispose 5tons of rocks an hour based, on the time it took to carve that massive hill and there is no trace of the disposed rocks that were carved out of it. So how and where and what made it possible are the questions that remains unanswered..✌️

There are crazy historical monuments all around the world. I have researched and done case studies on such awesome ancient constructions from all around the world as I'm an architectural interior professional. That's true that other countries also have amazing ancient structures. The Pyramid of Giza, The Roman Colosseum and many more amazing structures have their own value and wonders. But what differentiates indian structures from them is their immensely sharp detailing work. You might find such constructions but you won't find such DETAILED CONSTRUCTIONS anywhere in the world other than India. I'm saying because I have been researching and studying about it since last 3 yrs. Every ancient building has its own value.. and it truly doesn't matter from which country it belongs to. Because one thing is a FACT that WE as humans of 21st century stand no where near those ancient geniuses weather they were indians or from any other country existing on our planet earth. Ancient humans were way more intelligent than all of us today. Cause as Steph said it's next to impossible to create such crazy structures in 21st century even after having this much access to crazy technologies and facilities. So yeah.

The fact behind vault B of padmanabhaswamy temple is that even though they could have opened it by any means but when the officials tried to open the door they heard sound of the sea waves inside. apparently the mystic chant used is said to be "garuda mantram" which is like a prayer for the vahaan (vehicle/means of transportation) of Hindu god Vishnu to whom the temple is dedicated. his "vahaan" is an eagle also known as garuda. Uk what's the most intriguing part? I noticed that the vault has cobras on it and eagle can defeat snakes. also for those with snake curses in their life are told to perform this mantra to get rid of it or diminish the effect (I do it every sat too). but the thing is, we can all chant it for our own purposes but no person alive currently is powerful enough to use the mantra as a chant to its fullest power and thus the vault cannot be opened.

Obviously pyramids are one of the wonders of the world... How those ancient people managed to build those architectures back then is still a mystery to us but still those pyramids are just nothing but 3d shapes whereas these temples are not only built with almost perfect accuracy but also tiny details too which makes them more attractive... But the sad thing is that the world gives priorities to those 3d shapes more than these beautiful art works....🤷 Coz I think building these temples is way more difficult than building a 3d shap(pyramids) at that ancient era...

Then too the Egyptians managed to build the pyramid of Giza in just 20 years. The pyramids point exactly (only 1/15th of a degree error) towards the 4 directions (north, south, east, west). I really liked this video and Steph's reaction to it. India is full of incredible and unimaginable mysteries, especially such mysterious temples. The carvings on some temples which is even older, they are unreal, the curve the stones have, the architectural masterpieces the poeple created its unreal. And about the Brihadeeshwara Temple, as you mentioned even in pyramids the people have used some crazy ancient technology. But I have read that the block there in pyramids weighed about 2.5 - 3 tons, which is still an incredible thing. The one in Brihadeeshwara Temple weighed about 80 tons. Even imagining that is crazy. And about the vault in the Padmanabhaswamy temple, I donno if it is this temple or some other temple..., but I have heard that it took them about 32 highly qualified scholars of their time to enchant the same mantra (Probably something called the Asta Naga Digbandhana Mantra or something as such I am not completely aware of it). Every Mantra has a specific manner in which it should be enchanted and we have precise amount of grammatical notations that denote one how to chant. And the door can be unsealed only when you get back 32 of such scholars who can chant the same mantra in the exact manner. But apparently the chant is so complex that even despite the grammatical notations' availability, getting 1 such scholar is very hard. So it is almost impossible to open it. The Konark temple had a Statue of a deity levitating mid air due to that 52 ton magnet apparently. The magnetic strength was so strong that it started deflecting the compass and even the very ships of the Britishers who were colonising India back then. Apparently one of them ordered to get the deity out of that place. The moment the statue was removed, the temple collapsed on that side. It was built with such great technology. The very same temple has a huge stone carved wheel. That shows you the exact time of the day wrt the ray of sun falling on it. There is calculations for it as well. It's very very mysterious, the temples of India. Do make more such videos and if possible try visiting India and temples here😇😊 Get some good authentic guide as some guides here go crazy with stories of their own sometimes 🤣

You should react to Karthikeya 2. That movie explores mysteries like this. You don't have to watch the first part to understand 2nd part. But I recommend watching that too ❤️

The Kailasa temple level of detailing on the rocks is mindblowing. Padmanabha Swamy temple has this holes in it which shows the sun position and which helps to know time. Many of the temples are destroyed and looted by the invaders. Still only a few are there. Imagine if those invaders wouldn't loot these. From one temple they found the treasure. All these temples had their fair share of gold and jewellery.

According to historical evidence in 8th century, Rashtrakuta King Krishna-I started building Kailasa temple. The sculptor who carved the temple are from Tamil Nadu as a result this temple got dravidian art form. A small temple similar to the Kailasa temple is located in Tuticorin district of Tamil Nadu state. The name of the temple is "Vettuvan Koil". The same sculptors who carved this Vettuvan temple later created the Kailasa temple.

PadmanabhaSwamy temple's vault is believed to be closed using NAAG PAASAM chants which invokes the power of snakes, can only be opened by GARUDA chant which can overcome the power of snakes. It is also a belief that attempt or opening the vaults would befall misfortune on those who seek it, which was later stregthend by mysterious death of petitioner who asked to open the vaults. Another belief is when people put their ear to the door of closed Mysterios vault they heard sounds of ocean waves and snakes which spooked them and the attempt to open it was stopped since then.

There is more wealth in temples of India than India's GDP itself (India is the 5th largest economy in terms of GDP). Also, much wealth was looted from India during Islamic and British invasion. Think about the wealth India had if it wasn't looted ever. It only means India was super massively rich in the ancient times.

The number 4 temple where an 80 ton stone was placed 216 ft high and sculpted, isn't actually a mystery. They just made a huge and long ramp way, from ground to the Temple top with hardened soil, and carried the 80 ton stone with the help of several Elephants. It has been recorded in several scriptures from back then. This video maker didn't research any of these temples and just ended up calling them mysterious.

Not only those big efforts went in making these temple, it must be understood that Indians were highly advanced in mathematics (e.g. geometry to make shapes and sculptures) and architecture. Of course India was highly advanced in other all fields of science like metallurgy (magnet in Sun temple and metals joining sones), astronomy (Sun dial on wheels), advanced tools (stone cutting in Ellora temple). This is very very small list here,
