sir why is amiodarone only given after 3rd shock, not before that..???

Probably because we are busy with more important steps before that.

I presume it's because amiodarone blocks K and Ca channels and ß-receptors and may also become proarrhythmic as such. It's a wonderdrug, but very dangerous as well.

sir i have a question. like there is a chronic kidney disease patient, patient is intubated, with Nil urine output with lactate of 13.2 in ABG. how do we treat that person if he/she had a cardiac arrest.
