@@lizaalexeeva7009 as someone who only drinks soda and eats canned green beans, I’m going to die in a week or so. (Bruh I’m just jocing, sheesh. It’s only a prank. Don’t make that your diet tho.)
it is. i usually took off my mask walking to the car when i was away from people but now i keep it on until im in the car because it just keeps me warm
I did it once cus I was the car and my dad was before and we found out he had it I was like heck naw. Just spray Lysol tho idk I didn’t have Lysol with me 😂
The BEST part was the “I don’t know who to obey.” Especially in the beginning of the pandemic it was so damn confusing. Fauci was all “wear your masks,” the President was saying eff it, the governors were all split, local governments were all doing their own thing from county to county…it really came down to where you lived and who was in charge. Such a disorganized mess.
i remember when the whole “don’t buy masks” thing was happening i was like confused because it seemed like they were arguing that the masks were needed for healthcare professionals to protect them, but simultaneously saying they were useless to the average person and i was like - so is the virus going to look at a healthcare worker in a mask and walk the other way, but not do the same thing to a regular person???
The virus also only moved forward and backward but not side to side, which was why you had to stand in line six feet behind the person in front of you but less than six feet from the person next to you. Also, like heat, it rises which is why you had to wear a mask to your table at the restaurant but was completely safe not to wear a mask while sitting at your table - it just floated over your head. 2020-2021 will be remembered as the years that idiots ruled.
I took my mom for cancer treatment in March 2020 and dressed her in a mask and gloves. They made her take them off because they said she had more of a chance catching Covid with them on. Im not just a regular shmo, I worked in labs for a decade. I’m still fuming 😡
Covid is discerning. Only striking before you order a latte or sit down in a restaurant. After doing these acts covid loses complete interest. Classic predator characteristics.
Honestly. Miscommunication easily causes confusion. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for masks because they do save lives. But between what President Trump has said about masks and the CDC saying otherwise, it caused the unfortunate political divide we have today.
@@LegionIvory yeah they are working so well. See how well our numbers are in Canada and we've had mandatory masks for a long time. If you think masks work you need to watch less tv.
Trey, you need a part 2 to this video. After vaccinations started, masks required inside when around unvaccinated, no masks outside unless social distancing was impossible. No masks around family members, unless unvaccinated. Then, when the vaccine didn’t stop the spread, it was “masks are preferred” at all times again, but people are used to not wearing them so pretty much the airlines are the only ones scaring us into mask submission regardless of vaccination status (no mask, no fly list).
hahah that's accurate! Just yesterday we got this new rule of not having to wear a mask in closed restaurants anymore, and I went in without one and felt something between naked and a criminal 😂
On the bright side my looks have improved by 50% due to this pandemic. No, not because I lost weight or started dieting but because half my face is always covered now.
3:34 This reminds me of when I watched The Big Short a while back. Brad Pitt's character was supposed to be super paranoid and always thought the world was going to end, and one of the things they used to show that was that he wore a mask whenever he was in public, but instead of thinking he was paranoid, I was just thinking "hey, why isn't anyone else wearing a mask?"
@@legendofacriuswithornament2019 How so? Isn't it more dangerous if you set the mask which picked up the virus down on a surface which you'll regularly come in contact with (i.e. your car)? The point is to prevent the spread, the less you fiddle around and put down and put back on your mask the less chance that a potential virus on its surface will spread. There's no drawbacks, only benefits...
@@angelazhang1083 Let me tell you one thing; with every breath you breath in a few hundred different types of mushroom spores enter your body and these would kill you if your body temperature was lower. Most healthy babies literally eat mud outside to achieve immunity against diseases. You live inside a world full with viruses, bacteria and this won't change because you wear a mask. Masks are there to stop the spread during interactions with other human individuals and they don't make your body, your car and house a clinical environment.
My sister and my mom. My mom will see one person at Walmart without one and be like, “I’m taking mine off, too!” Whereas my sister puts one on the check the mail. 😂😂😂
"Lowers their mask to talk - they're an idiot." I mean he's not wrong though . . . and I even saw someone lower their mask to LISTEN, not even to talk. wtf.
@@incaglasgow8957 UGH. I've seen it too. Where I work I've had to yell at some stupid customers for that. They're doing the exact OPPOSITE of what the mask is for.
I wear 4 different masks/day. As soon as I feel sweat, it's time for a new mask. I ain't wearing a soaked mask. Go through 20 masks/week, wash over the weekend.
@@Kohay114 yep. But they also come into contact with bodily fluids and such. Their work environment is different than a school setting. If school was 12 hrs, they'd also have to wear masks for 12 hours. If I worked in healthcare, I would be accustomed to wearing masks for extended periods of time, so it wouldn't be a difficult transition to wear masks outside of work as well. But for the folks who've never had to wear a mask and never worked in the healthcare field, it is a major adjustment. I do wear a mask 14 hrs/day for my jobs, but that doesn't mean I have to like it or refrain from complaining about how stuffy it is in the sweltering heat on a bus or in the kitchen next to the ovens. That's one reason I go through 4-5 masks/day. I already went through puberty. I don't need anymore pimples around my mouth 😂
@@cheydawggenius9513 It’s fine to complain about it haha we do too. Though I do like the fact that no can see my laughing at dumb stuff when I’m supposed to be professional. 😂
i rmbr being mad at myself bcs i'd bought a whole box for my lab group the week before lockdown and then LEFT IT IN THE LAB. its still chilling in the lab, as far as i know.
my mom always kept a stash because of allergies and occasionally made us where them during high allergy seasons. she thought we couldn’t wear some of the masks she got after March bc people would think they were for nurses lol
when he said that “they need masks in this tv show” that hit me the hardest. i’ll watch shows from like five years ago and i’m like “oh my gosh i can’t believe they’re not wearing a mask” i hate that wearing a mask has become the new normal 😔
If I'm watching a reality show and don't see masks, I'll check the date it was released to see if it was made during the pandemic. Where is my brain? I've _got_ to stop doing that. 😬
I literally started watching White Collar and was confused in the beginning. Then I started missing seeing so many people without thinking about it again
I would do that but I've gotten to the stage of only grabbing my favorite mask because the others either got lost in the wash or I have issues with the fit
LOL. People like Nancy Pelosi have been in that stage all year. Notice she has a custom matching mask with every expensive pantsuit she wears? Taxpayers are no doubt paying a wardrobe assistant for Pelosi that is responsible for having a special mask made for each days outfit.
face masks like this were actually completely normal and commonly worn in some Asian countries like Vietnam because they protected from dust, sunlight, and anytime you were sick. This was YEARS before covid
Anyone else find it funny how when the lockdowns first started, it was like "you have a custom mask? ok, kinda weird but whatever" and now it's like "you have a basic medical mask? what are you a weirdo?"
@@TheDoooden medical at least, FFP2 is above them. And btw, not everyone has to, our police doesnt inside of their buildungs and thats okay apperently. Just went their yesterday (Brandenburg) and one of the officer came out of the common room and just put his mask on. While talking to him, at least 7 went out of the room without mask and 2 with selfmade ones. Kinda weird
Is your government providing non-homemade masks? Because the USA is definitely not and I can almost guarantee a lot of people wouldn't be able to afford buying single use masks for every time they go out. Plus people buy them for environmental reasons. Just in general doesn't make much sense here to not wear homemade ones, almost everyone does.
My local gym that’s all indoors opened all their doors so it could be classified as an outdoor gym to stay open? I don’t get it but I won’t question it
@@bonkkus idk they should’ve been shut down but the refused to because if they do they’ll go out of business so I guess they just said fuck you to the government
In March when no one was wearing a mask, I would wear one to the grocery store and would get so many dirty looks from people shopping thinking I had Coronavirus. Then in September, I forgot my mask when picking up food at a restaurant, and I got so many dirty looks from other people picking up food, thinking I had Coronavirus.
You are hilarious! I gratefully stumbled upon you today. Congratulations on hitting the 1 million mark of subscribers. I'm one, and a big fan already!!!
Don’t forget the confused mask worshipper; they think a mask makes them invulnerable so they give hugs, skip hand sanitizer, go into very crowded areas without attempting any distancing...
Yesss!!! Suddenly a flimsy little mask makes them think they're getting a huge amount of protection, like being inside a space suit, so they party it up🤣😂
Yep...my boss and coworkers are convinced that's the case and crowd around in our work area, and tell me to do work faster and not worry about getting close to customers
Yeah I have seen this first hand. For some reason these people think that if they just wear a mask they are completely safe from covid. They are terrible with every other type of personal hygiene, and blame everything covid related on anti maskers. It's like guys there is more to preventing covid besides masks. For the love of God please wash your hands, and don't cough into your hands.
@@riderofrohan8840 yess! Masks help a little bit but you're right people forget basic hygiene they don't wash their hands and they're usually the ones at the supermarket touching everything!!!!
For anyone interested, this is my mask progression: March: “Do we need to wear those?” April: surgical mask August: more fashionable red mask December: FIVE MILLION CAT FACE AND PATTERNED MASKS
My progression: February: Finally, I can wear all of the masks I already have for various reasons without people looking at me like I'm going to rob a bank. March: "Why are you wearing a mask? Lol are you paranoid of getting sick?" "Yes, because I have immunity problems and am the caretaker of high risk people, but I also just like them." April: "How are you not suffocating? You must have athlete lungs." "Nope, well, not anymore. I used to be athletic, but then I got H1N1 and a bad case of pneumonia and now my lungs are full of scar tissue and I get out of breath climbing stairs. I think this helps though. I feel like my lung stength has increased after wearing these on and off for a couple years now." "........YEARS???" May: "You're a sheep." "You spit while you talk and that's gross and makes me glad I'm wearing this, pandemic aside." June: *person at work angrily snatches simple, cotton, pleated mask off my face* "Take that off, you snowflake." *I silently stare back at them now that they have uncovered my far nicer mask with a demonic toothy grin that I was secretly wearing underneath the thinner, plain one this entire time, waiting for this exact moment* July: "How do you wear two masks without dying?" "Will power." August: "You're suffocating yourself. Don't you know that carbon dioxide kills people?" "So does COVID-19??? Anyway, I have no problems and I'm wearing two." *uncovers some variety of demon face mask that was hidden under a plain one, feeling a sense of accompishment as color drains from the other person's face* September: *silently waiting for my take out order* "I like your mask. Zip~" *man smiles and makes zipper motion, referencing my zipper mouth print mask* "I like yours too~" October: "Cool mask." "Thanks." November: *person pulls down their mask that was already under their nose to sneeze all over me in a grocery store* "...would you mind pulling your mask up?" "YES, I WOULD." *person pulls it down under their chin and walks around like that until they spot security approaching them* December: No masks required. No leaving the house or seeing anyone, even at a distance. Half of work, including my boss, got COVID and are in varying stages of sick and dying. Not me. I'm fine, despite that no one told me we had COVID exposure until a week after people at work and my boss's family all tested positive. January: *boss sends out a statement about staff staying 6 feet apart and wearing masks at all times, as if I wasn't already doing that; still leans into me and pulls down their mask to talk/spits when they talk the second that they come back; wears their mask under their nose whenever they do wear it* (Me: *internalizing what is more important right now-- job security with a thinskinned and petty employer in the middle of a pandemic when the rest of my family is out of work and relying on my paycheck OR telling them that the mask is supposed to go over your nose and to back up off me because I would not be okay with this closeness and physical contact under normal circumstamces, let alone now*)
ok but not all republicans are like that not gonna lie i’ve seen some wear masks like my dad wears one and he voted for trump my dad even wears one in the drive thru line and i appreciate when ppl do that
@@extraoliveoil6115 ???? the bare minimum is going out of your way to wear a mask while you are in your car at the drive thru window and the person is collecting the money? seems legit. most people don’t wear a mask when they go through the drive thru so you don’t know what you are talking about.
@@trans_asexual first of all, it’s a joke not all republicans don’t wear masks. Also,it is based on the fact that most people at anti mask rallies are trump voters

It's really crazy to me to think that I used to loathe my suffocating Aunts. Then I had a niece and 3 nephews, when they were little it was great!!! They LOVED me and I spoiled the heck out of them... now they're high schoolers and no matter how much I try not to be the stereotypical "thick and suffocating Aunt" sometimes I just CANNOT help it🤣😂
Always look at the actions, not listen to the words, of the people forcing the rules. If they don't care and are doing what they want it's a power play, not an actual concern. That's why I never wore masks and I can't get behind the climate change rhetoric. The biggest offenders of carbon footprints are telling everyone else the world will end. They clearly don't actually believe it and have made millions pushing the propaganda.
If a bill were introduced and signed into law stating .. "Any politician found in violation of THEIR own covid restrictions at any point, for whatever reasons, including but not limited to the concrete text of THEIR bill, shall face the penalty of immediate capital punishment within 1 hour of infraction," You would never hear the word covid again.
In my case it was the mayor says no the governor says yes Dr fugie says yes the President says no and my dad says I don't care just don't bring a home to your mother lol ( yes I do where one when needed)
@@urgurl_hannah6704 ???? The reason we can’t do “wear a mask if you’re sick” is because some people are asymptotic and don’t realize they have it or have it and spread it before developing symptoms.

The Texas one is (only for some areas, smaller towns, less popular parks) annoyingly right as well. Went to a diner on my way to drop my brother off at his college and the WAITRESS wasn’t wearing a mask. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@tinkallie sounds like the south is amazing for me 🤣 everyone should be able to choose if they want to wear a mask to church, if the church isn't enforcing it.
But it’s safer to wear a mask. It helps to prevent the virus from spreading. Why do you think that every other country except us has recovered? Because they understand that wearing masks is for the safety of others and don’t “rebel” against it.
I'm on stage 6: "One day, will not wearing a mask in public be considered public nudity and will photos and videos after a certain year without a mask on be considered porn?"
I hope that was a joke. Stage 6 is no longer wearing masks. Even three months ago when it says you posted this most people were no longer wearing masks. Take it off already.
