At my boarding school we have to use an app on our phones to log in a leave request at least 24 hrs before we want to leave campus, then your parents and the boarding house head have to approve it and then whoever is picking you up has to go to the office and sign you out. Like you can't walk to places or get public transport or anything like that. x love your boarding school videos, can relate a lot!
I'm in a boarding school and nobody here is allowed to bring his car or go out from the boarding school without an "important" reason like to go to the doctor and stuff like that so yours seems so much more open
But wouldn't the homework and projects be way more interesting than a regular public school and the teachers actually care and isn't there support from teachers
I was a day student at a boarding school. The homework/projects were the same as public school. There was just alot more of it. Some of our teachers were there because they could NOT get a job in the public school system. not because they were more dedicated and caring.
At my boarding school there is a tutor in every house to help us with homework and the teachers are really close if we need them, so there is more support at my school at least.

I want to go to a boarding school badly. I don't mind sharing a room and I'm open to extra work. I feel like I would be able to focus better if I was always at school! My only problem is my family is quite poor and I can't find any schools close enough to home which offer scholarships :(
THE best part of boarding schools is when you do all nighters with ur friends on the last day to winter break . U can decorate it sooo good with led lights and stuff
I also can explain Taylor, Flintage Scared Heart Academy in Los Angeles California is the worst of all boarding schools to me all the time, just as if my favorite Mommie Dearest book author Christina Crawford means this all the time. What I take Flintage Sacred Heart Academy as a big negative is that there are mean bully girls just as if that makes me think of Lindsay Lohan's movie Mean Girls. That boarding school looks more like a madhouse, mental institution and insane asylum to me all the time.
Went to boarding school when I was 11 stayed for 5 years. Mum going through two divorced. Hated it. Imagine being a child shoved into a house of strangers. You don't have a home, feel like you don't belong and only see your family every 1-2 weeks (which is lucky). Only recently have I stopped constantly seeking for love and approval. Going to boarding school at young ages can leave trauma. It's not natural. When in nature does a child get removed from it's biological parent and placed in a strangers
at the boarding school I want to go to (it's a 50/50 rn if I'm going), There are only about 30 students enrolled total, so I would most likely get my own room and each room has its own bathroom so I would get so much privacy
Megan Parker its a mistake dont go,i go and i hate it soo much and most people who do go to my school hate it too.You always get bossed around by teachers and barely have enough rest time since after school u have to go to prep for an hour.Unless you really wanna boost ur education i would advise not to go or to be a day student.No joke i hate it sooo much imagine staying away from ur families for 6 weeks +1.
Our school is a mainly a private school but it's also a boarding school. The boarding students are mostly if not 99% are from different countries who have come to our school in America to study. Because of that, absolutely no boarding students are allowed to own cars in the campus and it just really suck. Compared to other schools, ours is definately not that strict we have a lot of freedom. However, we still have to follow rules like checking out when you're leaving to let your parents know or checking in for breakfast but I hate the fact that our rooms have to be perfectly clean because every week they have a dorm parent to check your room to make sure it's perfectly clean.
As a former Student in Ashville Boarding School in Atlanta I had to experience the pain also.I had trauma throughout the months and had to live with strangers and i saw a student get bullied as i approached the bullies and tell them to back off as they laughed at me and walked off This is why Boarding School is Traumatizing There's Bullies,Doesn't feel like home,Missing Friends,Living with Strangers and Also there's no privacy.Which i'm insecure all the time in Ashville and then my parents chose me to move to another school and i'm currently still traumatized from the Boarding School Experience
I assumed this was going to be hyperbolic and cringe . I was wrong. When i was in boarding school, the worst thing was that you weren't allowed to smoke as a freshman, unless the teacher smoked
Since I go to a cheap crappy boarding school with the worst therapy I’ve ever seen I would not recommend a boarding school, I would rather take pills that have a risk of killing me than going there.
I wanted to go to boarding school to be in a more stable environment because my parents are divorced. They we’re actually quite supportive of my decision, but now that its been almost 3 months I realize i prefer living at home! Boarding schools are strict, bad food, no ac, dirty, uncomfortable and are bubbles. I plan on applying to sxhools back home or just going to public school for the rest of highschool. Dont ever go to boarding school. Dont do it

I graduated from boarding school. I think a lot of these are different for every school. I felt more free at school than at home.?I think the first one about a car depends on the school. My school allowed cars and My school was also small so we had dorm parents who gave us rides every weekend when we needed to go somewhere.
When I was 19 I went to a boarding school for vocational programs. I can relate to some of your videos. I really liked it, but it was different. Mine was pretty strict though!
I guess it won’t have more homework than my current school, I study in a top school in Hong Kong and we have more than 15 homework everyday and it takes several hours to finish
I play hockey and boarding/prep school is really big because most of them give you a 100% acceptance into colleges but it is expensive 50-70k a year plus if you go to college is really expensive
