Totally loved watching the documentary, I feel like I just watched a piece of history of one of my favorite band of all TIME. Long live The 69 Eyes. GOTH N ROLL FOREVER 🤘 😎 🤘 🖤 🖤 🖤
I booked their first gigs in Stockholm. They stayed at my place and I've taken the photo on 4:03 from my balcony. They were so excited after they had met Backyard Babies at Drottninggatan and Timotimo was so proud as he'd learned to pronounce Nässjö right!
I'm the mid era fan of the band - Wasting The Dawn, Blessed Be, Paris Kills. The album 'X' is the only one I don't mind adding to that list and I sometimes wonder how I would have felt about the band if that album would have been chronologically released right after Paris Kills. Saddly everything else is a bit too americanized for my taste. But I'm happy that the band is still going and active.
X was definitely their best album since their golden era (I would also include Devils even if it cannot beat the "trilogy"). Universal Monsters had good songs too.
I remember when I was little girl age 10 and my brother gave me Paris Kills album. He said: Here I thought u might like this! He was right, it was love at first listen 🖤Oh and that was 21 years ago xD I feel old.
This was great to watch, love the 69 eyes and was lucky enough to see them in Sydney back in 2009 I think it was. Watching this doco left me with one question....what the hell happened to Maryslim! those guys were great!
