I'm a nurse (retired), and I worked with an orthopaedic surgeon for some time, he used to repair bunions, fractured ankles and such on womens feet and say "you women should spend as much money on good, supportive shoes to wear every day, as you do on those rediculous damaging highheels that destroy your feet and break your ankles!! Then you'd be so much better off!" So I have always bought good shoes, arch support, not too pointy in the toe, and never excessive heel since!😂 lesson learned.👍👍👍

I'm a big fan of Clarks shoes. Over the years they have really improved their styles and they are supportive and comfortable. I can not wear a perfectly flat shoe or sandal; my lower back will be in so much pain after a few hours. I walk a lot in my Clarks and love them.

As an RN I always wore SAS shoes. They come in wide and extra wide widths. And measure your feet. Think about it - when did you last measured your feet?

Birkenstock👍👍👍. The ONLY sandals I used for my travels in Europe & Asia! The plastic version perfect for the beach! Solved my foot issues. I can’t emphasize enough! Thanks to my podiatrist for recommending this brand. Saved me from possible foot surgery.

Michael Kors high heels--Berkley Espadrille Wedge Sandals, are also surprisingly comfortable. I have even worn them while traveling by flying and having to walk miles throughout airports and have no problem and I'm 58 and don't generally wear heels!

The on shoes are hands down the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I am an ER nurse and I walk a million miles during my 12 hour shifts. My feet never hurt and they have helped a lot with my back pain. They also last a long time. Love my Birkenstock's as well.

Hi Angela! I recently tried Birkenstock shoes after getting 2 pairs at Ross for $50 each! I love them, I got 1 pair I double buckle sandals and 1 pair of the closed toe shearling, but I have seen other styles at Ross, at a great price! I look through each size because sometimes they are put wherever and not in the right size they are supposed to be that’s how I found one of the two pairs, Happy Shopping ❤

Thank you for this video. I had plantar faciitis but through intermittent fasting and getting some weight off, I don't experience that pain anymore. However, I still can't wear just any shoe for long periods of time. I have those cute nude heels with the pleated bow! Love those and I can wear them for a good while. Wore them for Easter. ❤ Also, love my Birks!!!!!

My favorite shoe is FITFLOP shoes/ sandals. I do housework on my wood floors AND my FITFLOP tennis shoes that I do my 10,000 steps in. I usually buy the sandals out of season for cheap. (Patti)

Vivaia also makes washable ballet flats (like the 1st ones). They’re at Nordstrom for $97 (vs Amazon’s $129). I ordered my regular size. They’re comfortable, but If you need arch/heel support, then Vionic is an even better option. 😉

Birkenstocks are my go-to shoe for around the house, to prevent flares of plantar fasciitis. If I am running up and down stairs, I wear indoor walking shoes with supportive insoles. Outdoors, I wear either custom orthotics or Superfeet insoles inside my shoes. The firm support is crucial for my flat feet. Thanks for the tips of cute AND sensible shoes.

Love my Rothy’s EXCEPT the $160 white tennis shoes. The netting doesn’t let the dirt go, even when you wash it twice and let it in the rain for extra effort.

I love those leopard print Rothys! They look great on you! Can't afford them but Dream Pairs makes a similar style which cost about $100 less. (They make great sandals, too!) My Birkenstock (Madrid) Dupes are from Madden Girl by Steve Madden (The Brando, BamBam, and Bonus. ) I have them in every color and I think they're more comfortable than Birkies! Your Pink Jacket is awesome!!!

For me, it was more about wearing comfortable shoes in my house instead of just socks on my wood and tile floors. Also wearing my Birkenstocks and ON tennis shoes more out of the house has helped me a lot!! 😊👍🏻

I have been wanting some On Cloud shoes. I know if my husband finds out what they cost, he will have a fit. He’s cheap. But I used to wear cheap shoes. And my feet have paid the price. So I can’t wear any kind of cheap shoes. But I’ll tell him before I buy them. But I may have to get a darker color. Because white shoes don’t work where I live. They will end up being orange. Everything I own does. I’m thinking about some Birkenstocks too. But I’m not sure I can wear the two straps. I’ve had cheaper pairs and I gave them to my granddaughters. I wear Clark’s sandals, that are a more solid flip flop. But the newer ones aren’t as comfortable as my older ones. And they don’t last forever. I wore a newer pair last week when we went shopping. And my feet hurt that night. So I won’t be wearing my newer ones for that long at a time.

Hint - spray your cloth shoes with fabric protector ( several coats) , they will keep clean longer. Your hair and the pink jacket make you look 10 years younger - too cute.

Fabric protector may contain PFAS which are very dangerous. Your feet sweat and those chemicals will get right into your bloodstream!

Best comment I’ve heard about the original Birkenstocks from a stylist is that if you want your feet to look like a troll then get these shoes. I agree. Unless you have a size 5 foot. I don’t. Then prob not the best look. There are tons of great footbeds from Vionic, naturalizers, Abeo etc. that have cute styles. As a PT I recommend these brands.

Nice shoes!! My feet are funny too!! I wear a nine however in shoes with no back I buy a ten because I never see half sizes. With my first child my foot went from an eight to a nine!! With the second child it didn't grow, thank God.
