Are you looking for advice on how to give an authentic apology to make amends? I want you to have biblical insight with practical examples on how to apologize in a way that works. A good apology can go a long way to soothe tensions and mend the relationship, but a bad apology can make things worse. Apologizing is much more than saying I’m sorry. In this video I'll share clear steps to help you make a sincere and effective apology to help restore trust and strengthen the relationship.

Journal Exercise:
1. Think about a time when you felt bad for hurting someone. Reflect upon how you felt when you realized you hurt them. What did you do to make it right? Take a moment to pray and ask Jesus to show you if there’s anything you need to apologize for. Write down what comes to mind.
2. Think of a time when someone apologized to you, but it didn’t feel sincere. What did they say that made the apology fall short?
3. Write an apology for a past mistake using at least three of the keys mentioned in this video.
4. Remember a time when someone acknowledged how you felt when they apologized to you. How did their understanding of your feelings affect your ability to forgive them? Why do you think it's important to show that you understand the other person’s feelings when you apologize?
