BROOOOO I cold approached a chick at my local uni today and I got destroyed. I need your help!!!!!!! On the other hand, thanks for the muscle tee you sent me that I had ordered.
As a 23 yr old, lazy af. Who doesnt know how to cook, save money and take proper care of myself. (Live at my parents home still, who i love always) I decided to level up my life first by becoming more mature. Last week i started it, simple things like watering the garden, cleaning laundry, started cooking dinner. I want to become a dependable guy.
1) Make strategic alliances 2) Complete Sacrifice (Focus on your Primary mission, don't sacrifice being fit) 3) Remove the fillers (don't waste too much time on non productive hobbies, entertainment, distractions) 4) Introduce new rewards (productive hobbies you can enjoy) 5) The zero morning routine (have a short morning routine that gets you in the right mindset to start the day) 6) Get enough sleep 7) Mantain focus (daily/weekly review)
Make strategic alliances, bro couldn't have made it any more dramatic. It's not so "sigma" to just have robotic friends giving you tips, keeping you on your improvement streak. Don't narrow shit down bro, there are kids watching these videos.
I had to become on a ghost mode. Became jacked, healthy, attractive overall, more money, 0 friends, 0 gf, 0 sleeping around, 0 drungs, 0 party. Happier then ever.
@@swagthealrounder4818 Self control, Discipline and knowing what I know which is "MOST MEN, I am telling for real, ARE FAKE", when I say FAKE I MEAN IT. As a good man, take that advice and do what you want.
@experiencexnow Exactly man! That's what I am talking about! I want to get better too, let's do this! I will do the same as you! Wait... I have nothing to sell... But I will start over anyway!
As of now, my main focuses are 1. Getting a job - I don't want to be on welfare forever and 2. My RU-vid channel content. I've always believed that each video I create will be better than the last. Moving out of my gran's house two and a half years ago has allowed me the freedom to be more creative. Which I love to do. The fact that I reached over 600 subscribers a few days ago means that I'm clearly doing something right. Three years ago, I only had about 250 subscribers.
Man, I don't agree with a lot of what you say David. But today's video was spot on. Sports and video games can be fun and there is nothing wrong with fun but for so many men they are such a waste of time. So many men are so good at certain games or follow certain teams...at what cost? These things bring you no benefit except relaxation and you shouldn't be relaxing more than an hour or so a day.
These are the bangers that brought me to your channel. I’m getting older, the chasing ladies video’s are a waste of time to me - especially coming from a married/committed guy. But this - This raw unfiltered dose of reality to make shit happen. This is the content that has an impact. Thank you!
From boston as well, it can be rough out here with the high cost of living. I am in construction as a laborer for now so i always have a chnace to move up, the company is huge. I have a 2 year old son but with the worng girl so my priorities got screwed up. Watching this gave me some inspriation to better myself and at 36 i dont belive its too late!
Mines been video games for most of my life... That and alcohol. I'm 38 and have really nothing to show for my life. I used to game for 10-12 hrs a day for years. I'm quitting games because it's taken so much from me. I'm currently 285 pounds and going to start working on self improvement and practicing stoicism. I'm hoping that by the time I hit 40 I can turn my life around and be in the best shape of my life.
I resonate with the sports one, I use to be a massive hockey fan and I still remember when one of my favourite players won the MVP I bragged like it was my own accomplishment since I was living vicariously through him instead of chasing my own accomplishments and success. There is one quote that always stuck with me "You can become greater then the athletes you look up to" - Justin Waller. The older iv gotten the less invested I become with hockey.
Hey. I’m plus 40 and also a father. I want to thank you for this video as it delivers a lot of value event to us a bit Older. Motivation and really good thoughts🤜🤛
i agree with you in all except the last 2 points. I'm the worst in mornings. Have tried waking up early and doing my work. Nah, man - too hard for me. But throughout the night though - I'm in peak form. When I study , I study from 11pm to 6am daily. Non-stop , and am way ahead of my class. I do not need to go to college everyday - with certain coaching apps , I can study from my home. I wake up at 12 pm , Have my lunch and after a period of 2 hours - reading a book, meditating or playing guitar - I hit the gym. A daily dose of 1 hr is good enough for me. After I come back home, I study till dinner. Then I again study till 6am. And I've improved significantly in the last 3 months of following this pattern. Went from a nobody to receiving praises from Professors , being selected in a research project - which once complete will be published in a journal - at the age of 21 which is a huge thing for me.
The biggest hurdle in my life has been my weed/ dabpen addiction since i was 13. I was sober for almost all of 2022 but fell back in to the habit. I know my best life is on the sober side if i could get that under control.
I’ve just come across your content and absolutely freaking love it! Massive respect for your transformation. I’m currently just starting out on my journey into “ghost mode” too! 👊🏼🔥
Thank you David. I am going Ghost mode for 80 days. I will focus on Losing 20kg, Improving my video editing skills, Learning Ronin rs3 and having a Morning routine. What i will sacrifice is NO more than 1 episode a day, no time pass hanging outs and no more Sports cheering.
Honestly, been doing this. Its great. Went thru some tough shit ending of last year. Started my fitness journey, Changed my look. Starting to only hang around people who were real and really just started to focus on myself. Every now and then ill run into old "friends" and they don't even recognize me anymore, I'm def not on an extreme version of this "Ghost Mode" but really trying to lock in and i think this is the best version of myself... ever.
Hey man, I appreciate these videos of encouragement and facts that everyone needs to hear. I'm happy knowing there's men out there like you who have earned your way to where you are now. I will continue to watch your videos and commit to disciplinary routines, I'm 17 and I hope to reach my goals. Peace out ❤
I can relate to this. Lately I've been understanding so much about me, and decided to embrass myself the way I am. I can't change myself deeply, and there's actually nothing wrong with how I am. This feeling of always feeling off and bad is due to me trying to be like others, them telling me there's something wrong with me and that I shouldn't cut myself from others. After a weekend away together and several little stuff that felt out of place, that last one was from a guy I've dated. He said that because I deleted my Instagram. This is the last thing he's been able to tell me with his voice.
I felt off because I was trying to push a way of life that wasn't aligned with my values and my awareness of life. I don't want to waste money in drinks, and starting at home on a Saturday night makes me happier than chasing it in the wrong places during hours.
why start the business? What do you want to do? Is this is idea based on your ideas, knowledge, skills and experience or just 'because all "successful" guys does that"?
This one was super good David. Really appreciate you're honesty and transparency around what you could've done better. That's what separates you from a lot of other RU-vidrs in the space. You're doing God's work man 👊🙏
There’s too much I want to say. This is the simplest way for me to put it. Thank you. Genuinely. I was able to find clarity today thanks to this video.
If you have not found your passion, or don't know what to pursue, just hit the gym hard and at least when you eventually figure out your passion, you will have put work in the gym previously, so you have your personal health in a good place already.
Thanks I needed to hear all this today. I been fucking up the first few months of this year n need to get it together , time to go ghost mode . Your a stud thanks again
Just few weeks ago me and my wife decided to break up but instead of going into mental break down, I'm very positive about that life pivot: I'm going to the gym 5 times a week, going ghost mode and focusing on building my businesses. I'm glad I found this channel as it speaks to me by the language of success. Thank you!
Well done, i did the same thing with grief, move the emotion, the anger, the sadness. Any positive thing you can do to make yourself feel good about yourself and your life. Little changes happen daily for good or for bad xx
Ghost mode? Sounds just like monk mode, anyways I just came back from vacation on my first cruise to the Bahamas so now I’m back to monk mode looking to get back to saving up and getting rip as best as possible plus having that mental health after leaving a 13 year relationship… one day at it time… 🤟🏼😎🤟🏼
I don't believe a video can't change your life. Even the catalyst for what we decide is a life changer. I get it though we make the choice but the lightbulb going on the spark is so divine and I value that.
its all about leverage, once you progress in a area of your life that far exceeds the other levels, you use that leverage to increase the other areas of your life that needs improving! Love the vids man, always!
Very good content. Im literally on this path! Side hustle is becoming more profitable every month. 100% focus in combination with physical training. 👌🏽💪🏽🙏🏽
Damn, all things aside, as an English learner, I love how this guy speaks. Strong yet controlled tempo. Imma take it as my reference to improve my speaking skills.
I'm going ghost mode today, I've been struggling working out consistently and I play games a lot which is not good. I have to focus building my body and mental health as well.
I've been in this ghost mode since 2020. Biggest thing to overcome was to get sober and it was really hard and it didn't come easy, but i've been sober from may 2020! I should get in better physical shape tho and I'll get there!
5:00 you are right. And back in the day i would be unsure of the commitment. Probably because i was so used to convenience and comfort within to never make those kind of commitments.
Everyone is wired different though we have many similarities. You must pace yourself, be consistent and focus. All these extra rules make oneself into a trap. I am glad it worked for you and I can sense your heart is in the right place... by that I mean you know what works for you... it might be a bit rigid compared to what works for other people.
I'm on another downside of my life and the only words that keeps me motivated now is " Do something that your future self will thank you for doind so".
Damn. This was nice man. Thanks! I've been introvert for so long and recently started taking small steps into the extrovert world since August 2023. But I always felt like I was lacking something, so I decided to apply for the military to tech myself discipline and also slightly for my actual career cz jobs are impossible to get here in canada/Ontario fam. Anyway I feel like while I wait for the military application to process, which will be like around 8 months, I can follow this video's tips for self improvement. My goal/focus is to get fit. I have a pot belly, so I'm skinny but my stomach makes me look like I'm pregnant. Started going to gym somewhat consistently for a few months now. I'll check out your app. Thanks again. I had u subscribed for a long time but I thought u only made videos about getting girls so I stopped watching. Glad I watched it today. I'd love to write more and ask questions, but I gotta say goodbye to my one true friend today cz he's leaving to BC with his wife and moving on with his life. I'll go ghost mode after I say my goodbyes. Thanks again man.
Well im a literal shadow so this is already easy for me to implement. People hardly notice when i make a move or know what im working on til they see the progress. Hardly use social media either, just go on about my daily routine, get shit done and go on about my business. One thing I learned about life is that "friends" are nothing but utter bs. Learnt that the hard way one too many times, just focus on your goals and form alliances with people who have a positive growth mindset
Agreed stoistic power isolation is strength 💪 and focus. That what I did .Fu....feels good jacket and focused and need keep fu...ing grinding. Appreciated .
Even with the proper rest, I try to get stuff done, then I get stumped on what to write in my newsletter for an hour, give up, watch RU-vid, then reschedule the day, then get a bad headache and sleep the rest of the day, get mad whilst being exhausted. There must be a better way, my brain feels like I recovering from a car crash, I sometimes can’t even talk properly.
To answer the first question. I think this is very VERY important to stress because the way you posed it was loaded. He's referring to NEGATIVE influences! If you have friends who only play games or don't live an active life style, the aren't automatically negative at all. especially if they're encouraging of YOUR growth.. You can still grow, progress and be a better person and still play games or have lazy days with that friend.. Not everyone wants to travel or got to the gym etc doesnt mean you cut them out of your life... The time you cut them out is when they say things like "Naaah stay home and game/get high with me instead" or "Lol screw going to another country, why would you want to do that loool" because that's bordering toxic and they're actively trying to keep you down.(unless posed as a JOKE or a "Oh forget the gym I'd rather stay home" because preferences exist)
Hey, what’s up brother? I have been following you for quite some time now on this video. I like the watch you’re wearing I may watch Guy if you don’t mind me asking what watch is that thanks
I chose to go ghost mode. I needed a fresh start and some serious self reflection. It's done me some good, but now it's been 3 years, and I just work and go home. Just going to the store is too much human interaction for me now. Whoopsie! 😂
There's a million different ways to do something. Not everything provided here will work for you, so take what's applicable and apply it. What doesn't seem applicable or relevant to you, forget it. But I've found working out and reading books are habits that every man should be doing, so get on that. Self-improvement is about consistency, with whatever you are doing, just make sure you stick with it. Increase the positive, mitigate the negative and eventually eradicate it from your life. Keep pushing guys. We all got excuses, don't let them get the better of you, start now.
