Kinda. I've flown B747 -200 thru -8F and the B777 series including ER. The display and interface is relatively similar between the ER and 8F when operating AP/FD functions. The tactile feedback when handflying is a very different proposition. - FBW vs [mainly] Conventional controls. - After some familiarity, if you were to close your eyes, you could almost guess the speed/thrust and configuration of the B747. Not the case with the B777.
Budapest airport doesn’t accommodate category F aircraft, except the 747-8, for which specific measurements and simulations were done to make sure it’s safe to maneuver when it was introduced
