I hope I can find a PS5 within the next year. There are already 10 released or upcoming games I want, and I never got a PS4 because I kept putting it off. I think the purchase would justify itself for me, despite being so early into the gen.
Both the PS5/XSX seem rushed but the X1/PS4 was on their last legs before they even came out. I always get the consoles when the slim versions come out so I can get more storage.
Storage hasn't been much of an issue since we have like 15 physical PS5 games, so we've been mostly playing PS4 from our backlog and that's all stored on external HDD.
@@KonaSquid It was sensational but unfortunately their games including GR2 kept flopping even in Japan and supposedly the studio was just a mess despite many attempts to straighten things out. It is sad I mean all my hope for a new Siren are pretty much dead but we have Asobi I'd like to hope they'll essentially be the phoenix to rise from the old Japan Studio
New gen don't know how to make games like the retro consoles. It shouldn't be that hard to do, yet every new gen game I have played, I toss it on the shelf after 1 playthrough. Maybe I play a maxinum 3 times....You know how many times I'll pop in Mega Man 2, The Wonderboys, Streets of rages, Final fights, Tyson's Punchout....The Golden Axe's etc.....I play them 100 plus times over and over....It never gets boring. I rather play 30 min to 1 hour of something than to play these long story type games I get bored of like God of War, Assassin's Creed etc. My fav consoles 8 bit to 16 bit....After that they went the 3d direction which is terrible now.
A meeting of the minds! I enjoyed the review, very informative but I'm still gonna wait till all the good games come out and the price drops down from a grand lol.
Could someone give me some advice? So, I got a ps5 last week and I plugged my old ps4 Pro external hard drive in and all my ps4 games are there, but what's the situation as far as saving new stuff - principally digital ps5 games - to the external HDD? Will it allow me to store ps5 games, or is it only for ps4 stuff - like games I own on my account that I may want to (re) download and then existing titles?
@@prophetascending9021 no bc they’re not fast enough SSDs. Once the NVME slot becomes available you’ll be able to buy a compatible SSD but it will need to be one of those 2.1 PCI or whatever SSDs for it to work properly
