Red Wing is a country with such a devoted fanbase in so many countries and subcultures that dozens of limited edition Red Wing boots have been released over the years - and countless fans have known the pain of missing out on a limited release! I've always wanted to take a look at Red Wings you can't buy, so I roped in the guys at Red Wing Heritage NYC and ‪@CJCook‬ to ask if they could pore through their own collections of obscure Red Wings for this video.

I own the 4585 and the 8062 and like them both. I wear the 4585 during the rainy days and the cold days with thick socks. I wear the 8062 whenever I want a greenish rough out look and when the weather is dry. I conditioned them with Fiebing’s mink oil for a darker green finish though.

Picked up the Pecos in muleskinner from Stag provisions in Texas. A very nice boot! Runs wide so size down a bit

Same here. It pains me that i'll either have to pay 500$+ on ebay or still pay a substantial sum to have my non black klondikes resoled to the same style.

I have the all leather Wabasha boots from JCrew and always wondered about how to have them resoled. Who would I contact? Red Wing or Rancourt? Additionally, I think they're probably my favorite looking boots, the only issue I have with them is my pant legs getting stuck on top of the pull tabs.

Hi Nick. I have an older pair of Red Wing boots that I picked up at a thrift store a number of years ago and have the same type of sole as the Chevron boots but they have a snake embossed in the sole. The snake body is on the sole part of the boot and the tail is on the heel. I can't find anything out about this boot . I was wondering if any of your Red Wing historians might know something ? FYI they also had a removable kiltie on them which I removed because I didn't like them. Thanks. : )

I got 3331’s and they suck. I got two pairs. The first were returned because the seam on the moc toe separated after a couple of months. The pair they sent me after a month had the same problem happen within a few days. That’s probably why you never hear about the 3331s. Very disappointed in Red Wing.

Damn. I almost didn’t by my Rangers because I really like 8” boots. And I wear Rangers all day every day. They should definitely put one out!

I am in Australia and have found a rare 16 inch pair of redwing underground mining boots with a tag saying salesman sample only , I can't find any more info on them , New unused ukon leather and fully waterproof , anyone know anything about them or where I would sell them ??

Are there now swarms of red wing fan boys outside trying to break the doors down for those Billy boots? 😬 everyone loves those for some reason, I prefer the Briar Loggers hands down.
