Love the video❤️ I just started my print-on-demand journey and found Crafted Threads. They have a ton of designs and it saved me so much time. They have something in every niche. And lifetime updates too!!
I randomly watched someone talk about "Digital Products" on TikTok yesterday. I never heard about it but it really caught my interest so I searched it up here on YT and found your videos. The products and shops you listed here are making me fired up! I needed this video to be motivated. I am leaving this comment right now as a mark. I will be back after 6 months. I will see if my life has already changed. It will be in September and my birthday is in October. I have always dreamed of having a big birthday vacation and treating my family to a very nice dinner since I started working (10 years ago!) Ugh, I hate being in a 3rd world country and underpaid. Wish me the best!!
I'm so glad my videos got you fired up! 😃 Your determination is awesome! For an extra boost, how about joining a free Etsy Masterclass? If you're interested feel free to join here: www.brandontimothy.com/join.
@@captaincvo Still finishing creating my products, will probably start selling next week. Sadly I won't be able to sell on Etsy since Etsy Payments is not available here in Brazil. I will probably start selling on Amazon until I find a better marketplace.
can you showcase how they are unsaturated? you showed the successful store but how can we know that there isnt many stores there that are doing the same thing and failing? Thank you again for the video.
He can't, He just searching for the most selling each one for the video. if it's that good he's already doing it himself. guess what? non of those are his own shop
A lot of these are saturated, but still good food for thought. You might be able to do well for a short time, but without a proper brand or unique aesthetic that gets attention, not to mention continuous new product listing, it's usually a whole lot of effort for minimal money and short term success.
Brandon, thank you for providing actual data in your videos, so many of them do not give out any insight into the numbers. You're making starting a small business easier, cheers :)
It would be helpful to have an idea of these shops are just using Etsys platform or if they’re running ads on Instagram, fb etc. that makes a big difference.
Your content is so valuable and well presented. I love that you take the time to show proof of what you are saying. You are a life raft in a sea of confusion.... I appreciate you... thank you
Amazing video!👍👏 I just began my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They have an incredible range of digital comics for every genre, including the hard to find ones. Lifetime updates too!
I do a lot of digital products but it seems like sales are only happening when Etsy ads are used. Do you have any recommendations for getting traction without Etsy ads?
Some of my shops don't use Etsy ads at all, they rely solely on organic SEO. Im "selling eps jpg png clipart set and this month still having clipart set for valentine and discount then selling zero oh... this frustrating so I m searching to change other category recently i did after studied many hours how make a svg file for cricut so i have in my shop new product 1 svg file...not receive visit..uhh thank for idea i will try with preschool printable
Hi you are very good at explaining, thank you. I am in my 70's and trying to start my own little shop making (i know it's been done lots), bookmarks, greeting cards, stickers, wall art etc for physical and digital products. I tried using 300gsm photo matt double sided card and use an Epson ET-8550 printer. I cannot get it to take any thicker card and do not think the 300gsm is thick enough for the bookmarks. I did not really want to laminate but can only think this may be what I have to do. Any ideas please or will I have to change the printer although not something I want to do as I originally paid £700 for it???
Very much enjoyed this video and all the info you shared is invaluable, thank you! Is there another platform that one could use for digital products other than Etsy? I am not interested in supporting Etsy who has consistently shown to hurt Etsy owners and throttle their ability to grow & succeed.
Love your videos! I am glad I found your page as it's hard to find videos with details for us Canadians. I have a question, not sure if you can help me, but... I want to sell on Etsy and I am also thinking about POD. I just want to know beforehand how the taxes work for the international sales, like US e.g. If my Printing Partner is in the US and the customer is also from the US. Do I need a EIN? Do I have to file taxes in the US annually? I am really confused with that part. Really appreciate it if you can give me some light. Cheers!
It lessens your chance to actually succeed at any one of the ideas since instead of mastering one type of product and getting good at it you divide your attention and don’t get good at any
Hi there! If the products are within the same niche, it's generally okay to offer them together in your shop. Just make sure to categorize them well so customers can easily find what they're looking for. But, if the products are from completely different niches, I suggest considering separate shops. This helps maintain clarity and focus for your customers. Hope this helps! :)
Your Masterclass says it starts in a few minutes but the earliest one available in the popup is 6+ hours away. The timer seems to be on 30-min intervals, but that's not what the sign-up form offers.
Question regarding creating templates on Canva. Can I take a free template, change it to my liking, and then sell it? It will have different fonts, different colors, and different pictures, but the overall idea of the template will still be present. Will that create legal problems or is it fine to sell it? Also, what about using free designs on Canva? Like the non-pro ones that you can use. If I change the template with those designs will it cause any problems for me?
Hello! Thank you for your video. A bitt off topic but I just want to ask: when you are starting an Etsy Shop, do you recommend to do ads? If yes, what would be life the example strategy that you will apply to gain visitors/buyers? Thank you.
If you're just starting out, I would suggest focusing on optimizing your shop first, including your product listings, photos, and descriptions, to ensure they are attractive and engaging to potential buyers. Once you have a solid foundation, you can consider running ads to drive more traffic to your shop.
Hey Brandon, I have an old store that I've used a couple years back, but haven't been generating any sales, so it went dormant, would you recommend to reuse that storefront or should I make a new one if I'm looking to start again? I do want to reuse the name i had in the old shop. Thanks!
Brandon ,what are "Canva digital frames" this really peaked my interest? they are then sold on Etsy? do you have a tutorial that dives in a bit deeper to this area? thank you for another great video.
Sorry, I don't have a step-by-step tutorial on that, but there are a lot of videos on RU-vid on how to make SVG files for Canva. You can explore that. :)
Are you really hoping someone is gonna give you the answer? Like wtf 🤦♂️ no one knows what listing are you even talking about. Maybe it’s trademarked but you just don’t know about it. Maybe you used some tag that made etsys algorithm think it’s copyrighted. No one knows what your listing is.
Yes definitely! However, these are contract templates. The customers who buy them will have to modify the contracts to their specific business needs before using it.
Yes! Selling on Etsy is still a great opportunity, especially considering that Etsy has 90 million active buyers as of 2023. It's true that certain niches may seem oversaturated, but there are still untapped niches if you know how to conduct effective market research. 😊
@@brandontimothy can you have one Esty store with multiple difference niches within there? I am looking to make my actual niche digital products and just find low competition things to create/sell. I am also interested in your course, will this help me with what I'm trying to do? Thank you.
True, Everbee isn't entirely free. You need to subscribe to see the real numbers. But you can just sign up for a month, get what you need for your research, and cancel afterward. For me, it's a worthwhile investment.
I want to create a digital product and sell on Esty as I don’t have huge presence on social media. I’m into mental health. Do you thing it’s good start? Thank you
The mental health niche on Etsy sounds like a good idea, especially if it aligns with your passion! But before you start, it's important to do some market research to see if there's enough demand and competition. If you're interested, I have a free Etsy masterclass where I share strategies to help you succeed. You can learn more here: www.brandontimothy.com/join. Good luck with your Etsy journey! :)
Etsy shops can sometimes get suspended because sellers make mistakes without realizing. To help prevent this, I've made a video with easy tips. Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kDLwVDbu2P4.html.
hi, i have a question and thought here I could get some help. My shop generated revenue for the year, and I got regular sales per week. Every month, I got a regular revenue. I changed nothing and this month I only had 2 sales, still getting a lot of views, visits, and likes (even MUCH MORE than the past months) but still no sale! I don't understand because I didn't change anything, I even upload new listing and participated in etsy Mothers Sale for mothers day. Is this happened to others sellers? thanks
Check what your competitors are doing differently. Have they added new products, adjusted pricing, or improved their marketing efforts? Understanding their strategies can give you insights into market trends and customer preferences. Also, keep in mind that seasonal factors can affect sales patterns. While Mother's Day promotions may have boosted traffic initially, demand could have changed after the event. Look out for upcoming events or trends that might impact your sales moving forward.
Yes! You can sell on Etsy from the Philippines. Etsy allows sellers from various countries, including the Philippines, to set up shop and sell their products internationally. 😃
Hi! Bradon im new in etsy after creating and listing 1 digital product ,they suspended my account after a few hours ,im file an appeal, and they review it for 2weeks is there a chance to open it again?
Hi there! It's normal for Etsy to check new shops for security measures to keep the platform safe. Don't worry too much! You've filed an appeal, which is good. It might take a couple of weeks for them to review your shop, but there's a chance they'll reopen it. Hang in there! 😊
But isn't worth not trying. You can still try to niche down into the different categories here? But not like primary focus but maybe like a side quest? I guess? Still relatively new at this myself.
I completely agree, it's definitely worth trying! It's true that certain niches may be oversaturated, but there are still untapped markets to explore. Just think about the fact that there are 90 million active buyers on Etsy as of 2023. The potential is enormous, and with the right strategy, there are plenty of opportunities to stand out.
Are there rules / regulations for selling e-books? If it is regarding something health related (e.g., Yoga), would you need to be certified in the subject prior to being allowed to sell?
Great question! There aren't strict rules, but having a background, especially in something like Yoga, could make your e-books more appealing. It's not a must, but it can add credibility. 😊
Hey brandon most canva templates that i see from my competitors have over 300 pages does that mean in order to compete i have to put just as much pages in, and i have no problem with it i guess, but i just wanna confirm, and if so do you think you can tell me a way to go about this process?
Hey! If you see your top competitor finding success with over 300-page Canva templates, then it might be what the buyers prefer. It's a good idea to start by figuring out what your audience wants. And to boost your chances of success, think about what makes your templates special. Maybe you can add unique design elements, etc. Having a unique selling proposition will help you succeed! 😊
Thank you so much Timothy for very interested and motivated video~~. I really enjoy some "Digital product" but haven't thought about making benefit from what I love.
