Where is a good place to play hind and seek? Perhaps a farm. That is what the 9 cats think when they are exploring and see a farm in the distance. Charlotte does the counting as her friends find places to hide. First the pig pen where there are the cutest piglets, and where Millie and Poppy are found playing with them. Next the cows, and there is one cow moo-laughing because Tiger found a rather unfortunate place to hide...and a smelly one. Molly and Daisy are found clickerty-clicking knitting scarfs with the sheep and Poor Monty's magnifying glass get broken by accident. Now, where is Stella? Well, poor Stella has a rolling accident and is found covering up the white rabbits burrow who is not too happy at first.
I wonder where she has to visit?
A fun day is had by all the wonderful friends and they all help Stella to feel better, because, that's what good friends do.
This is another beautiful, fun and well written story from the 9 Cat book series. Having already read some of these stories before, I couldn't wait to read another. Yes I am a cat lover but you do not need to be to enjoy these books. They are alive and bursting with FUN and EXCITMENT and are so engaging. The characters are a pure delight and each with their own personalities. The Son and Mother authors have demonstrated the strength of kindness, warmth and friendship in a gorgeous adventurous, fun and loveable story. The accompanying, engaging illustrations are just lovely, colourful yet soft with icy arctic theme. Children will also learn a bit about farms and the different animals.
