The 9 Cats, Poppy, Molly, Daisy, Millie, Milo, Monty, Charlotte, Stella and Tiger are enjoying a wonderful day out in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. As they picnic beside the banks of Loch Ness happily throwing stones into the water, Monty hears a strange sound. The water ripples and up comes Nessie to the surprise and wonder of the cats. Nessi's friend Aggie needs help, her horns are stuck in the fence. They offer their help and before they know it, they meet the sweetest of fairies who join in...with a little magic, to help Aggie. The fairies show the cats their favourite games...Tiger has a little surprise as he flies through the air.
This is another beautiful, fun and well written story from the 9 Cat book series. Having already read some of these stories before, I couldn't wait to read another. Yes I am a cat lover but you do not need to be to enjoy these books. They are alive and bursting with FUN and EXCITMENT and are so engaging.The characters are a pure delight and each with their own personalities. The Son and Mother authors have demonstrated the strength of kindness, warmth and friendship in a gorgeous adventurous, fun and loveable story. The accompanying, engaging illustrations are just lovely, colourful yet soft with heathery Scottish vibes of the Highlands. What is so delightful about this story is that it has been created from the authors past family holidays. Children's imagination will be a blaze and they will be mesmerised by Nessie and the fairies...are the real?
