It’s great to be able to customize the wardrobe essentials! I am currently re-reading an e-book by Alison Lumbatis called Ultimate Book of Outfit Formulas. She has seasonal shopping lists. Summer has a list of tops: white, navy, striped, bright, chambray, printed, gray and blue and white striped. Bottoms: denim, white and printed. Layers: kimono, denim jacket, white denim jacket. Dresses: solid dress or jumpsuit, printed maxi dress or jumpsuit and a solid sheath dress etc. It is vital, in my opinion, to individualize the colors for different color types, especially as most of these lists are biased towards colors for winters. I LOVE simple turtlenecks😍 I have 5 of them in different colours and I can't imagine an autumn/a winter without wearing them😍

Love your list , I will add a ( long enough ) tailored coat in the cold months , a quality item that you can put over anything and always look perfect 🙂 Eva

I love how much colour and personality are in your picks 💫 I'd have to say my swaps are an off-white sleeveless top instead of a t-shirt, a fine crew neck knit in navy instead of a turtleneck & I'd go for a cotton knit cardigan as a layer/jacket in a cool stone, or an oversize denim shirt instead of a blazer (I've tried a few shapes and fabrics of blazer and they're always a bit of a miss, I think they suit my frame but not my lifestyle.)

The top you're wearing in this video is so good on you! Everything looks cohesive and you just radiate. I agree that your tops look best when they are deeper and warmer. That's really useful insight to have. Btw, I know you explored kibbe recently and you were typed as FN. I just wanted to mention that only you and David Kibbe can type you. And you cannot be typed by pictures. I think if you were to revisit the kibbe concept, maybe try SD lines again. It seemed like such a letdown for you to be typed as FN. If you find SD suits you better, then it does! It may help you on your style journey to reconsider it. Another thing to note is that our personal essences play a key role in how we style ourselves by use of the lines that best support us. So perhaps you are an SD who leans heavily into classic style elements. Gabrielle Arruda has a great series on how the essences interact with the kibbe types - definitely worth a watch. Love your style updates btw! Can't wait for more :)

Aw thank you! That's so kind. Yes, I know about the typing, but I do suck at viewing myself objectively so it's handy to have someone new look at the shapes of my body. I do prefer the SD lines and recs so regardless of if I'm SD or FN I will follow SD recs. I may try another video about SD lines! Thanks for the tip about Gabrielle's series, I'll have a look :) Thank you :)
