A bag of Fish And chips is almost extinct nowadays I discovered one yesterday and couldn’t stop smiling after eating it Eating , almost skipping and smiling 😊 It beats French fries 🍟 anytime Bring em back I say
@@cantagiousca5220 Seen more shite in the US than anywhere else ,in fact up until quite recently it was run by something resembling a huge bag of bag of shit but a bag of shit smells a touch sweeter , it also had one more brain cell than the two he had ! .
I’m watching this and I’m 30 years old my nana used to pick me up from school and take me to her fish and chip shop and we used to wash and chip them by hand in big barrels full of water
Remebers when he was 2 😂 i remember being on a big water slide with a million of my brothers and sisters and shooting out the end into a big pink room and us all racing to the finish... I won 😏😂😂😂
Frying in vegetable oil creates potentially carcinogenic byproducts, and veg oils aren't found in nature, they're industrially extracted. Frying in animal fat is the only safe way (and tastier).
The title could refer to a fish and chip shop which is 90 years old, or a shop which sells fish and chips which are 90 years old. I'm glad it's the former.
@@robertchinnock8017 not washing up bubbles, when you use one of these peelers the water mixed with the potatoes forms a throth which could easily be mistaken for what you thought
@@cfcstevie1888 im a chef as well and been in the game for 25yr but never had to use the spud peeler.. either they came pre-peeled or the old way.. by hand peeler..
Peeling potatoes can take time and if a traditional fish and chips shop always prepares all of its products fresh meaning they are prepared the same day. The method is to ensure everything is fresh.
One thing missing , they ain't cooked in beef dripping any more .Most people have never tasted what traditional real fish and chips taste like in beef dripping .
@@antimoron123 just a fyi singapore is not part of China And also eating a dog in Singapore can get you arrested and thrown in jail Even the Chinese don't eat dogs now So learn some facts before you start spewing shit
Richard horseman travels 4 miles to the fish shop to just get 2 chips on a fork! The owners will be thinking here’s that plonker again mr big spender! 2 chips on a fork please, that’ll be 9p Richie.. see ya in a few days guys 🤣😅
Is it true that modern chip shops soak the spuds in a bleach solution to stop the chips going brown. And I won't buy chips cooked in transfat. I worked in one in Scotland as a teenager. Loved it. Seating for 60. Italian owners. Remember the wife discovering 'time and motion'. I still remember her chanting it. Fun-nee.
I never knew that. I like my chips to be golden brown which you rarely find nowadays. I can't understand why they would not want their chips to be golden brown because that way they look and taste so much better. I always thought it because of the type of potato chippies used as some spuds have more natural sugar in them which helps them to brown. I got this idea from a documentary about walkers crisps manufacture and they used a certain type of potato that was low in sugar, making crisps pale looking, unlike they were years ago also.
@@peterah7957 Maybe he just isn't as thick as most folk. I remember being two but I could also speak quite well by that age, I was always asking questions. I remember going to playschool and being surrounded by boneheads who could only grunt like fookin chimps. Tried talking to the staff instead who thought it was cute for about five minutes until they lost interest or got fed up of all the questions.
@@cremedelacreme12 I'm fed up with a lot of things. I didn't even notice I'd written fed up of, maybe I'd edited the comment and forgot the of, tired of works but not fed up of, nobody says that. Very strange. I'm always deleting and re wording stuff as I type it. I'm very hungover after nearly a whole week of drinking but sober today, so far at least and noticed my knee isn't sore anymore. I bashed it on a doorway last week and couldn't bend my leg it was so swollen.
A paper funnel full of "crispbits" a shake of malt vinegar and salt. To die for! When poor as a youngun - a cheap feed, two pence. What are crispbits you ask? The little pieces of crispy batter and fries that are dipped up out of the hot oil. Usually thrown out.
I bet when that guy sat on the counter as a kid it wasnt a chip he was gobbling on. My uncle used to tell me it was a carrot. Up until i was 10 i thought carrot was meat because i once bit it and it bled
I can remember being in an oxygen tent (due to croup) at the age of 2. Dependent on the happiness(or in my case, terror) of the moment, memories can be formed as early as 1 year.
It’s a shame that fish and chips is now too expensive for a family to buy. At my local cjhippy, a large bag of just chips costs £3.20 and the potatoes aren’t even nice.
That is taking the piss unless it's ten kilos of chips wrapped in a sheet with a free wheelbarrow to get them home to feed your family of ten grossly overweight kids.
Minimorts In some instances that might be so and in other instances it isn’t so. No one is talking about “full memories”. The fact that he remembers going there as a child is a memory. I remember things from when I was younger than 2. Very clear and distinct memories.
