I am from the old guard of WoT players. Back then, Obj.416 was a revolution for Tier8, having 320 Alpha. You paid with semi rotatable turret and horrible gundepression. Seeing that something like this is now possible, is showing how much stronger Tier 8 has become. How is this not superior to something like STA-1 or STA-2 in EVERY possible way. Both have 0 armor, just that this thing shoots APCR as standard with higher pen and has 320 Alpha instead of 240. Its simply crazy to me.

Worth noting that the 416 actually has a reliable gun, whereas this thing and the Lansen aren't great at sniping. You're still right, though, ofc.

Simultaneously way better than the tech tree Pershing and yet way worse than the meta premiums at tier 8. The gun alone makes this tank decent, but people will shit talk any premium that is worse than a Progetto or Borrasque.

I believe this tank is a better version of lansen C, with better gun handling and penetration, but slower. It should be played as a support med or sniper med like lansen C

I think the lancens speed and camo makes for a good complement to the play style. I don't think either is better then the other. The aat60 sits somewhere between the cs52lis and lancen C. By no means a bad tank but nothing revolutionary

@@Mystro84 lansen has good mobility and camo, so I think it's pretty well balanced. The only thing i don't like so much about lansen is the penetration. 248 gold pen is mediocre for a support/sniper med. Now I need to check if the AAT60 has decent camo and view range or not. If that's the case, then this tank is truly a better version of lansen C.

@@snepcheck2198 Both have similar camo while AAT60 has better view range. yes the speed is mediocre but I believe AAT60 can spot itself while Lansen C has to either use optic or rely on LTs and other meds. I used optic for lansen for a few games, and the gun became pretty trollish without improved aiming or stabilizer.

This tank immensely benefits from aiming device, since the gun is overall great besides a mediocre base dispersion value. It is hitting so much better for me after I changed to using IAU

looks like to be a very strong tank in good players hands. The vehicle has poor armor, but important to note it has ''some'' armor. There is a distinction. The hull armor performs like Guard. This means it wont bounce much in terms of tiers 8-10, but can bounce stuff like low pen rolls from crom/3485M/12T. And pretty much nullifies alot of HE threats like arta and OI/KV2/SU152/EBR75/M41GF penning you for full damage. Unlike something like SU130PM or CDC or bourratt, which truly have no armor and get wrecked by any and all attack. High DPM, high alpha, great gun handling, great gun dep, acceptable camo, good VR (390 is good, not sure what skill means here) The tank basically checks off all the boxes, except armor. lt doesn't have 274A armor, but has way better gun dep, gun handling, and exceeds its DPM and VR. This tank is basically a better STA1/Lansen, which at the least makes it 4/5.

Very nice gun handling, penetration and dpm. Lansen C has much better power/weight ratio and CS52-Lis has better armor. This tank doesn't burn and actually has better view range than either of the other two tanks I mentioned although this tank is slow as dirt on soft terrain. Doesn't seem terrible.

I faced one of these in a battle as a E-50M and I was so surprised when the retical was green everywhere lol. I took the first shot with suspicion that my game was just glitched, but then just laugh through the rest of his HP.

This AAT60 reminds me of Lansen C. Would be nice to have a video comparing these 2. Better mobility for Lansen C against substantially better gun stats for the AAT6.

This tank is a better version of Lansen C. Good dpm, good gun handling, good alpha and no big bloom with aim like the Nemesis. AAT60 = 4🌟

@skill this tank imo is very similar to Kampfpanzer 07 RH the difference is that you have higher alpha and 2x reload speed, the gun in my opinion performs very similar. I think there is a lot of reason to rate this tank epic considering the lansen is good and this is arguably better considering you can put turbo on it and get the speed you miss from lansen.

The Kpz07RH has basically THE best mobility of any t8 medium and really good HE rounds that generally supports a highly aggressive playstyle, whereas this is a fairly slow medium that seems to prefer midrange. What I feel this tank is however, is a superior Indien Panzer with a fantastic gun. Probably not gonna be meta, but it's like the T832 in that it's a solid vehicle with a very comfy gun which will be enjoyable to grind credits with.

Seems decent, not op not terrible. The thing is though we already have lots of tanks in the game which are like this. Amx alt proto, Lansen and cs52 are all tanks with very similar play styles. Safe to say I won't be buying any boxes to try get this.

This thing will do well while shooting from long range due to great gun stats, shell velocity and camo but it will also have a place supporting heavies due to its dpm and penetration values. Sure the tank has no armor but the turret profile looks pretty small when shooting from range. It is half the size of a progetto's. In short. This tank is near perfect in all values but speed and armor.

heavy support is exactly what I was thinking. particularly on maps with tons of trees. It's 390 base view range combined with a cvs could really help. And since it already has decent gun handling it's not like you're sacrificing your ability to dish out damage.

it only has -10 to the very front and soon gets worse as you turn. To the rear it has -0 even though there's nothing that seems to block it... unless you're using the star trek skin. Yes, the tank's gun depression is balanced for an optional skin you might not get - enjoy! Still, aside from that I think this is a decent prem tank: It's not OP but is not boring either.

I played without the armor as a newer player and I was really excited to get better at the game without depending on armor. I believe it helped me. Armor can be a crutch for a beginner rather than a thing to utilize.

Armor is the single best attribute newer players utilize. You getting better playing without armor is irrelevant to the casuals benefitting because of armor.

@@demetrioshristovski4518 I disagree; mistakes are less punished when armor is involved with random bounces. When the game is less punishing, there is less ability to grow. When a mistake means death, I learn fast.

Shitters make up the great majority of this game, when they are less punished, they are more fruitful in what they do, even if they dont know what they are doing No one said anything about improving, because shitters wont improve anyway. They choose, for whatever the reason, to stay the way they are. However, it doesnt mean they cant be useful in well protected tanks. Armor is the single most useful crutch for new/casual players. Thats why tanks like chrysler, Defender, BZ176, Kranvan, Bofors, lS7, Bobject, Turtle, Swipera, minotaur have been so detrimental to the game. Because even a terribad imbecile can drive them with pressing W, and do something, and sometimes not even take one for the team while doing it.

In terms of the other tier 8 mediums, gun is 5*. In terms of all tier 8 tanks, gun is 4*.

Very true, but this tank's turret is really skinny (so is hard to hit) and can form some weird angles. I feel like hulldown this tank is probably pretty "evasive" if not well armored. Example: at 18:05 he bounced a charioteer shot (which is a tank with like 260mm pen)!

I don´t think this entire "will be difficult to play" idea is even true anymore. Like with a lot of other tanks anything that isn´t squishy has to play opportunistic. But than again a large amount of players already play like that, knowingly or not. After all it´s always beneficial to you if enemies are occupied chewing on your teammates while you use the moment to farm damage. The issue you inevitably face is that in a team full of opportunists you will have a difficult time to find opportunities. Which however is true for most tanks.

Yeah, low armored tanks aren't always the hardest to play. For example, Borrat has so much alpha damage and burst potential, that a bad player can still just grug rush in, out trade the enemy, and run away while reloading. OTOH this tank (AAT60) has neither armor nor very good mobility, so a bad player will get themselves in a bad position and probably won't be able to brawl their way out of it (by relying on their armor) or run away from the enemy like a Borrat can. So maybe the armor alone doesn't make this tank hard for new players, but the combination of low armor and mediocre mobility makes it so positioning is critical - something that even experienced folks can struggle with.

@@berrywarmer11 Wot in it´s current state favour mobility, alpha/burst damage, dpm. You have that the game is the easiest. At this point i argue that slow superheavies with low dpm are the most difficult to play. You can only hope to drive towards the flank the enemy is, you cannot relocate if you encounter a lemmingtrain, you cannot chase damage when the game is won and your team mops up the rest. And in a lot of cases are you just stuck in a hp pinjata for the enemy to pen with heat at will, and you will be hardly fast enough to avoid getting shot.

Armor is overrated since premium ammo became available for credits. I feel way more confortable in a tank with reliable gun and ok dpm. Armor is not a thing to place ur bet nowdays.

I say this tank is below average. It said it has high DPM, Bullshit. With 1:23 left in a match, I got lucky and farmed a full HP VK100.01 with 1970HP that DC'ed with all rounds hit. I started firing at 1:13. The match ended and the VK survived with 183 HP... I looked at my damage shots numbers. 97% of my shells were all below 290. If the Alpha of this 105mm gun did 360 like every other 105mm in the game I would have won that match. The gun was acting like a 90mm Gun the whole time. Also, the View Range sucks balls, even with a 6 perk crew. the only thing going for this tank is its gun handling.
